Sadly I don't have a computer with a USB C port. I have been using only cables with C>A. I downloaded the latest platform tools yesterday before trying fastboot/adb. I'm waiting for a call back from Google tier 2 tech support within 72 hours. If anything comes of it, I will report back here.

Neither Fastboot devices or ADB devices lists a device. When put in fastboot and recovery, my device manager on either computer does not register that there is a device connected.

OMJ I have to thank you for all your hard work. It seems the Bad Boyz Roms are what I always come back to when things aren't working. I really like sense 7 on my M7 but I can't find any ROM that has figured out the Roam Only Option. I'm wondering if you've figured it out on your M8 or M9 roms...

donkeykong1 I just installed busybox on rails as you suggested. The system status shows the I am "missing applets". I've tried the install from recovery method and it still shows missing applets. I am missing "nc". Would this account for weird behavior with kc not remembering settings?

Does the M7 have a fast/quick charge setting? Would this be part of the kernel or ROM? Comparing two M7's side by side, mine charges much faster than the other and they are both on the same ROM and Kernel. I'm just wondering if I missed a setting somewhere.

Does kernel kill the flashlight? I've noticed that I can turn my flash light on and with in 15-20 seconds, it shuts itself off. The flashlight is being used with the screen off.

I think we have a different definition of a dirty flash. If you wiped the system, this is a clean flash in my mind. A dirty flash is just wiping cache and dalvik.

I actually dirty flashed and had issues with the install. My google play services got messed up and my LIB folder for HTC Music was deleted. The HTC Music was an easy fix looking at the logs but the Google Play Services issue was really weird. I still don't know how to explain it.

Google play will not open after dirty flash of R279. My logcat wasn't showing errors. I turning the level to verbose and finally got something. I've attached my logcat.

Dirty flashed R279 before installing latest Package. I'm getting a FC on HTC Music. My logs show I'm missing "libMusicVisualizerHMS.so". I checked my IC R279 package and the library files are there. So either they didn't push in the IC install or were deleted with the Dark Chameleon install.

I had some major problems with my "Sense Home" after installing a modded theme. I'm not sure what happened but found that "Sense Home" is a playstore application that can be updated. I went and updated mine and it cleared up what ever was wrong. You might try updating it through the play store.
