I have used 2 separate samsung chargers and still have one of them and using it with official samsung note 3 back cover I don't get more than 640milliamps

I will check again this weekend and get back. My wife has taken off the qi receiver and put it somewhere and I can't find it.

I have the usb receivers as well and they don't give much more either as far as I remember. I am using them in my one plus one phone.

The phone is already unlocked as I used different UK sims For more than a week. The region locking only becomes apparent when trying to software update the phone. The phone was on Kitkat but there was an update available but couldn't update due to the issue mentioned.

I don't have the ones you have. But try using double sided tape and stick the receiver to the battery so that it doesn't move inside the cover. Then place on the charger (any) and by trial and error find best position for that receiver and charger combo. Then later always keep in that position...

It could be a faulty device but it could be an app. See if the device is Ok after factory reset and without any other apps. If Ok then mite likely to be some apps you install. If not Ok without any apps then best to get exchange or refund.

Have you tried a factory reset. Did it sort the problem out. After factory reset install apps one by one and wait 15 to 20 mins to see if any of the apps wad causing the issue. Can't think of anything else to suggest. If problem continues then I would get an exchange or refund if I were you.
