Yes, absolutely yes! I've been a bit busy with life. I only finally got around to tossing JB on my sgs3 within the last week ;D That said, I'm gonna try to get something going this weekend.

AFAIK LH1 is pretty much just a baseband update, and LG9 is not the official UK release either (AFAIK it's still LG8). Most likely the kernel will work fine. That said, I update against the UK rom releases. Basically, it will probably work fine, your mileage may vary.

Remove the semicolons. init.d scripts (or shell scripts in general) are not like C where you have to terminate lines with a ";" . What will happen is that the system will actually be trying to echo those values into a file called "gpu_control;" as opposed to "gpu_control" ensuring shenanigans...

For the clock interface, 4 steps adjusts the clock, 6 steps adjusts the thresholds. On the voltage interface, are you literally echoing -25 , or are you echoing the full voltage values minus the 25mv? Swap not supported at this time. I'll have to do some testing to confirm, but I don't really...

You're on a rather old build, LF2 predates LFB and LG8 ;D You might consider updating first.

The version (LG8, LFB, etc) is for the stock rom (and custom roms based off stock). Go to settings -> about device -> build number If the build number is LFB, snag 1.2.1, if it's LGX (ie; LG6, LG8, etc) use 1.2.2

No, it refers to the ROM revision (ie; XXLFB, XXLG8) Many rom threads include the revision their rom is based off of.

Overclocking is a crapshoot. The cpu in the phones may be the same, but they are only guaranteed for the stock speeds. Anything further that you manage to eek out is icing on the cake, sotospeak. Post [Q] After Updating latest samsung update My phone is now 100% roaming ?

It's worth pointing out that changing the modem will not work as a valid solution in this case. If one uses a non-LFB modem with the LFB ROM, the mic doesn't get used. One would have to also go to an older rom in addition to a different modem.

    Post It's here...[Kernel][GPL]Ninphetamin3 - Stable: 1.2.1 - Testing: 1.2.2 (For LG8)

The app is hardcoded to say mV, the numbers are in nV, thus the confusion. The reason for the longer numbers is due to the regulator supporting 12.5 step increments. SetCPU is currently hardcoded to 25 step increments as 4 digit values, I imagine voltage control is as well. When you see 900000...

That appears to be a bug in setcpu when coming from a kernel with a different assortment of schedulers. It remembers the choice place on the menu, rather than the name, and doesn't fall back to the kernel default when the choices change. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2

Post Nexus and dr. Dre beats compatible?

Beats are a waste of money. It's not that they are bad per se, it's that they are bad for the price segments that you find them in. A $300 pair of beats *might* be close to on par with a $100-150 pair of sennheiser's for instance. They are overpriced, with too much emphasis on pumping up bass...

Post HPSA+ won't be supported for T-Mobile USA?

It is worth pointing out (and I'm surprised that no one has done so yet) that T-Mobile USA is working to have hspa+ working with the 1900 band by the fourth quarter. So if the international S3 doesn't initially get hspa+ on tmo, it will by the end of the year, possibly even by the end of summer.
