Disable the Facebook, Facebook messenger apps and you'll see your battery nearly double

Even though everyone is excited for a cm based rom, we have too keep in mind that this phone is amazing because of its camera and I'm pretty sure in order to run those features it'll require alot of lg files so in the end , most of us will most likely adhere to stock than cm , at least IMO

Shouldn't cause harm. But it is always good to do a clean flash

I agree ! If all of us who use this rom were to donate a small amount, since is so many of us whether we are active or not, it'll be some great help! Remember that 50% of something is better than 100% of nothing ?

I vote for keeping the CAF build. Since I switched to CAF I noticed -better battery -better performance -less FCs in general -Snapdragon camera is superb

No , you have to flash the firmware first. If you're coming from one of the latest cyanogen mod nightlies you don't need it. Just factory reset, wipe system and you good to go

There's an option on advanced WiFi settings that says "scanning always available" make sure that option if turned off because it keeps WiFi on all day to improve location

Are you using battery saving mode ? Battery saving mode disables background data so save power and only refreshes when opening an app. Also try using Disa. Is a messaging app that puts all your messaging needs in one place (fb messenger, texting and WhatsApp)

I've been testing out the caf build and so far I've had 0 issues to report. The only issue is the camera which is addressed in the next build.aside from that everything is working well. Tonight I'll do a clean flash of the v2 of the caf and report back tomorrow night when the rom simmers down

For me I went back go using color OS camera v 1.8 because the latest one crashes when you record 4k DCI, but if you record 4k UHD it will not crash and the issue is non existent. Give that a try and let me know because on mine is working fine

Already addressed this and a temp solution, use the search tool Download color OS camera and it works effortlessly

Do a clean install. I do every 2 or 3 updates and I have 0 issues. I'm even out of the country on vacation and I do it just for the heck of not having issues while I'm away.

I always use Google launcher and still had the issue. I had the pattern unlock and it'd crash before I even unlocked
