Post T-Mobile Anyone Unable To Access Certain Websites

Yes, before I had a 5G phone, my 4G LTE here was frequently band 71 and was also fast. I was thinking, you could try connecting one of your phones to a PC and adb shell to the device. You should then be able to try some command line DNS and/or TCP connections, narrowing down what is happening.

Post [RECOVERY][TB-X606F/TB-X606FA][UNOFFICIAL] TWRP 3.5.x for Lenovo Tab M10 FHD Plus

Mike, Awesome job on your TWRP and on the concise, working installation instructions !! I just picked up this tablet and I find it to be a very well built and functional tablet at a VERY good price point !! The biggest issues I had were: 1. Getting Windows to recognize the tablet in bootloader...

Post Do custom ROMs improve performance?

@imacleod, Based on the views and comments I see for custom ROMs for your tablet, this ROM: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/rom-sm-t820-tweaked-rom-sm-t820-tweaked.3659433/ appears to be the best choice for improving your tablet's performance. If you are serious about installing it, check...

Post T-Mobile Anyone Unable To Access Certain Websites

My phone has Android 11 and does not have issues with any of these sites. I wonder if it might have something to do with the 5G network upgrades in your area. Maybe a glitch was introduced in your area when the network was upgraded

Thread Hi, I'm TecKnight. I have been an RC for a couple of years now

I am pretty technical and have a lot of experience with android devices of all types. I have a habit of posting detailed tutorials, so those with less knowledge can feel comfortable doing cool things to their devices. My real name is Randy King and I live in Las Vegas. @cameronelderly Go to Windows device manager, expand the universal serial devices to show the Nexus 6P, then click on the Nexus 6P, select the details tab, then the Hardware IDs property. Then right click and copy the top row in Value, then paste the results into a new post on this thread.

Post Restoring to OOS from custom ROM in order to sell. Best method?

@mbarry55 If you are talking about a OnePlus 7 Pro, then by far the best way to restore it to stock is to use the OnePlus EDL package or unbrick tool. This will restore your phone to new state (just like when you pulled it from the box). It will also wipe any personal data you may have...

Post [partially solved(in a way)]"Your data may be corrupted" on LineageOS nightly if I update the os.

Use the terminal app within TWRP. Actually launch the terminal app then try: ls /data/adb If it shows: magisk magisk.db modules ... your userdata is successfully decrypted and mounted

Post [partially solved(in a way)]"Your data may be corrupted" on LineageOS nightly if I update the os.

Yes, if /data is mounted, I don't see the installer getting that particular error. You can tell when TWRP can't decrypt a partition. When you try to check the partition on the mount screen, it refuses to check

Post [partially solved(in a way)]"Your data may be corrupted" on LineageOS nightly if I update the os.

The cannot access /data message is a very strong indication that userdata is not mounted when the installer launches. Make CERTAIN you can read/write userdata before running the installer. and sure, grab the TWRP logs

Post [partially solved(in a way)]"Your data may be corrupted" on LineageOS nightly if I update the os.

The error message certainly appears to be all about the encryption or lack of decryption. You could try removing Magisk from the boot image as I suggested. I had an encryption issue on my Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and I solved it by setting a PIN in recovery. Once I typed in that PIN, OrangeFox...

Post [partially solved(in a way)]"Your data may be corrupted" on LineageOS nightly if I update the os.

The RescueParty message is clearly about the encryption. The Lineage installer probably can't find the encryption keys. There is another possibility: you could flash this .zip after wiping and reformatting userdata and cache: http://zackptg5.com/android.php#disverfe It is a DM-VERITY &...

Yes. However you may need to uninstall Magisk before you apply the update, then re-apply Magisk after the update. You could try the update with Magisk in place, but if it fails then I would suggest updating an unmodified LineageOS

OK great, so do you want to try the OTA upgrade or just flash the full latest version of Lineage ? I am so glad to hear about the TWRP being able to read your encrypted partitions. The first thing I see is that your system is using a partition layout known as treble. Treble is designed to make updates, especially OTA (over the air) updates safer. To make the updates safer, treble has an a...
