You can flash an unrooted ROM and it will not trip Knox, however flashing the pre-rooted version will trip Knox. But I think it's worth tripping Knox unless you need it for work related apps ;)

No, the S6/N5 use different drivers that aren't compatible with our camera. And I doubt Samsung would ever officially update the S5 camera so Camera 2.0 API is never coming to our device :(

I really hope this is a very early version, because the leaked firmware is basically Lollipop S5 with new icons... Hopefully the guy who received it cooperates in providing a ROM dump instead of trying to sell his phone.

FWIW someone on reddit posted screenshots with the Material Dark theme. I don't have an S6 but was just an observation I made, so I'd say yes. But not all themes are compatible yet.

Actually the Verizon S5 should work as it contains an LTE radio, meaning GSM functionality is present. Furthermore, the Verizon model comes unlocked as per FCC regulations. You will need to set the proper APNs to get connectivity on the Verizon S5, however.

The Note 3 got the TouchWiz of the Galaxy S5/Note 4 with Lollipop... just the camera interface and the settings menu layout remained like the S4/Note 4 KitKat. But then again, this is Samsung you're dealing with so I wouldn't expect too much...

Well, for starters, the Verizon S5 has a locked bootloader (unless there was some dev edition) so you can't load non TouchWiz ROMs at the moment. Second the klte would have a separate build, I think. Just like Sprint's CDMA S5 has it's own build.

Did you wipe /systam, /data, and /cache? If so then you probably have a problem with the zip. Try redownloading it to your phone.

ROM is working very well so far. I installed the Open GApps Stock Package and have had no errors whatsoever, if anyone else wanted to take that route.

Do a clean flash, as advised by basically everyone here. It will really help with FC and such because a lot of the code was changed over time!

Try downloading the zip again, I think it is corrupted which is causing the problem. It's happened to me before!

I think DevVorteX's unofficial build fixes it. The change was merged into CM 13 if I recall correctly.

Hey kornfed, do you know if the WiFi calling "trick" by CM has been merged in yet? If so I think it will require further tinkering using CAF kernel to access the radio and place calls over WiFi.

How is Doze working for you all? It doesn't seem to be working for me, even with the 11/10 or 11/11 build. Do you think it could be due to the GApps package I am using? Naptime Aggressive Doze did not work for me and it only caused my phone to not lock when the screen automatically turns off...

A small annoyance I have noticed is that HD Voice only works when on speakerphone mode. This was also a problem with CM 12/12.1 but I am not sure what the issue is. Other than that, the ROM has been smooth for me. I only had phone force close when I tried playing a Voicemail in the phone app...
