    Post [SODP][ROM][AOSP][XZ2, XZ2C, XZ3] SonyAOSP 11 [BETA]

the ennoying search bar can only be permanently removed from the 0th screen of the workspace by setting the Variable QSB_ON_FIRST_SCREEN to false which was defined in packages/apps/Launcher3/config/BaseFlags.java (in Android 9,10, don't know about 11) which I do agree that someone could...

    Post [ROM][BETA][11] LineageOS 18.1 for Xperia T/TX/V

I just installed & must say this looks very promising, so far no issues and a much better feeling than with 17.1. Bluetooth seems to work here. I can even use the square again. So my oldest mobile has the newest lineage now, unbelievable. @AdrianDC Thanks again very much and all the best for 2021!

vknecht I think you should start a new thread because: if I would have found this, I would have tried it! As I didn't, I build the aosp_legacy ROM myself, which took 7Hours +. Is there something special about this ROM here or is it basicaly the same as the one resulting out of the sosp? I...

Post [ROM][NIGHTLIES][8.1.0] LineageOS 15.1 for Xperia ZR

I've got a little problem with lineage-15.1-20190128-nightly hotspot on my ZR. If I try to switch the hotspot to the 5GHz band it stays on 2,4GHz but reports to be on 5GHz. And every time I used the hotspot (shortly) battery drain keeps to be extremely high until I reboot the phone. Both...

    Post [ROM][7.1.2][OFFICIAL] LineageOS 14.1 || Weeklies

I was curious how good my taoshan would do with Lineage OS and must say: :good: two things didn't work right: 1) encrypting didn't succeed on 3 attempts, it hangs forever on the initial screen. 2) Firefox is still not able to start on the taoshan, I tried multiple Versions, the log is from...

M66B You know it's a thing which should happen here at xda-developers and my hope is some people doing whatever helps, so no, it's better not to rely on just me or you or whatever single person. EDIT: ideas are welcome

Post XPrivacy - The ultimate, yet easy to use, privacy manager

lurgainn suggestions about the status of actual privacy appeared here before, but I agree that the length of this thread makes it hard to follow. It was said before that the fight is lost somehow, but to summaries a few things we can do: - get together a team of brilliant devs to fork and...

    Post [ROM][SNAPSHOT][7.1] LineageOS 14.1 for Xperia V

That's what I meant by changes, I just wanted to say that it's hard to get and could be so useful, so what you do is fine to put the most important things there. For me it looked all the time the same, but it wasn't.

AdrianDC with resize_userdata you do point to the function of flashing unify_userdata.zip, do you? As asphodeli writes partition unification I assumed flashing unify_userdata.zip did not succeed, if it has not been flashed it's in fact easiest to do so.

    Post [Q&A][ROM][7.1] LineageOS 14.1 for Xperia T, TX, V

acsway878787 that's OK, but why should this help with my OTA problem, unification is OK den_underbaraste I don't think removing TWRP will help, if it boots to the logo something else causes worries. Did you use an actual gapps package, older ones cause weird problems?

    Post [Q&A][ROM][7.1] LineageOS 14.1 for Xperia T, TX, V

derHungrige Flashing the ROM doesn't help, you have to flash unify_userdata.zip which won't work, because you already did it, so you will have to revert by flashing restore_sdcard.zip and then flash unify_userdata.zip again. You will loose all data, so backup everything. You might refer to post #22

    Post [Q&A][ROM][7.1] LineageOS 14.1 for Xperia T, TX, V

derHungrige so we both are in trouble, I have another mysterious error with TWRP and you haven't succeeded in unifying the user data. You should have 5,6GB in total size on mmcblk0p14, you 've got 1,9GB which is why you are short in capacity.

    Post [Q&A][ROM][7.1] LineageOS 14.1 for Xperia T, TX, V

derHungrige You are serious? It booted into the TWRP recovery and updated los, without booting back into los recovery? I know this can work with TWRP directly on other devices, my tsubasa never succeeded. Out of curiosity would you mind typing into a terminal cat /proc/partitions and df -kh...

  33. L

    Post [Q&A][ROM][7.1] LineageOS 14.1 for Xperia T, TX, V

derHungrige as long as there does not appear an "install" button you don't have a complete file. logcat is the name of the android logs which can be fetched by various apps, you would only need to press a button after the failure to get it. What makes the memory to run short?
  34. L

    Post [Q&A][ROM][7.1] LineageOS 14.1 for Xperia T, TX, V

derHungrige I don't think you are doing something wrong, it looks like a downloading problem, as there is no zip file in the folder and therefor nothing to install. You are able to manually download big files with your phone or do you also face interruptions? Is the phone rooted so you could...

    Post [Q&A][ROM][7.1] LineageOS 14.1 for Xperia T, TX, V

it might be easier to help if you would provide a more detailed question. A checksum would also help to sort...

    Post [Q&A][ROM][7.1] LineageOS 14.1 for Xperia T, TX, V

It's up to you, TWRP does not replace it, but will be the default recovery which will result in making OTA updates a bit more complicating. You can shutdown the device in TWRP though and then choose LOS recovery on boot and it will finish the OTA. EDIT: this happend on my device and should not...

    Post [Q&A][ROM][7.1] LineageOS 14.1 for Xperia T, TX, V

it will be easier to install LOS (thanks to stan_zoomer for the abbreviation) and gapps within TWRP in one go. Try the zip queue. If you want to keep TWRP you also have to flash a TWRP.zip, you can find one here But the LOS recovery has one big advantage over current TWRP: OTA updates work, if...

@derHungrige should be solvable with patience ;) tried OTA update to 20170331-nightly and it worked as supposed but CM file-manager has been patched to the unrootable state, for me it's a wrong assumption, I was happy using it, I guess I will try to use 20170324 as long as possible as there are...

This sounds to me that you have a unification problem. If you did not forget to Flash unify_userdata-YYYYMMDD.zip to start the unification it might have not succeeded, which results in a system living on 2GB and it calculates the space as it would be on 16GB. I already collected some...

with the actual 14.1-20170223-nightly I have a different bluetooth problem: if I listen to music, after a while it has regular drop outs. I am quiet sure it was fine before. I currently cannot check with a clean install, does anyone else have similar issues?
