That's a stock kernel. A2N Kernel looks like this: 4.4.111-a2n-g... Also if you open the A2N app then it should show you that A2N Kernel is missing.

Kernel outdated popup will be fixed in next kernel/app release. As for the audio issue: yes 4.1.2 is older than CM11 but it's bug free. That's why i had stopped CM11 development. And for Chrome/YT: it can't be updated to the latest version because Android 4.1.2/4.4.4 is no longer supported.

I got this question very often, but the answer will be always different, because it depends what i want and what i'm actually testing for stability etc. e.g. this week i've used the phone with kernel defaults, (zRam 50 %) in order to test the stability and so far after 1 week it's still perfect...

I mean GPU usage for every single gpu core. As for the temp, it's app bug not kernel bug.

The 20 cores are fully used when you play a game. Anyway, unfortunately there is no stats about usage like on cpu cores. As for OC/OV/UV, it's on my todo list.

Likely this week. So far still everything OK, no one issue, rock stable at zRam 50 % and LMK 192 MB. :D Need to develop the last feature then i'll upload.

It depends how you use the phone. I use it a lot with streaming web radio with screen off. So it doesn't make much sense ... 1 year ago when my battery was better i had really always 9 - 10h SOT. I think with new battery you get easily over 9 - 10h SOT. Over night it decreases always 1 - 2 %...

I've 84 % @ 327 cycles. U've over 1000 cycles ... i don't know how accurate is this information about the measured battery capacity. So according to the charge cycles it's possible that it's broken. Anyway i would check first with betterbatterystats app to found out if there is some app that...

It's your decision if you are ok with 80 % battery capacity instead 100 %. But if the battery is bloated then it's better to replace it for security reason.

zRam value isn't an issue here. Next build will have set 50 % zRam by default. @ ALL Thanks for all the reports and logs ! - Actually you don't need to post further reports/logs. I'm not sure but i believe that now it's 100 % stable. I'll test further 3 days before releasing it to make sure it's...

@pranil60 Using build 17.04 ? In release 04.17 you need to flash magisk in twrp after you flashed the kernel and then you also need to enable MagiskHide in MagiskManager app otherwise SafetyNet will NOT pass. But in next release Magisk/MagiskHide is not needed anymore to be able to pass...

Good news: i was able to fix it. So it'll be fixed on next official a2n kernel release. btw: it's OK if you don't mind about the full version, kernel works fine out of the box. But keep in mind that you'll still have to update from time to time the kernel, since (for now !) there is no feature...

With MagiskHide enabled it should be possible to use banking apps. Also you should test with "SafetyNetChecker" app if it's green (passed). If it's green and your banking app still doesn't work, then you should report the issue in the Magisk thread.

@ up why you use "vanced" ? It's outdated app and was replaced with the much better app "pure tuber". It think that's the reason why it gets uninstalled automatically, nothing to do with kernel issues. Btw: for now it's not needed to post logs related to random reboots. I'm working on it.

This report is for kernel build from 06.02.2021. I don't provide support for such old releases, therefore i suggest to update to the latest build. Something went wrong with the log .. there is no useful debug data. Generate the log right after the random reboot happens .. do not reboot...

Power profiles from the (stock) ROM doesn't control CPU/GPU Freq at all. It's only for screen brightness and resolution. Even if you can set "reduce CPU speed to 70 %" once you check with any CPU Freq app you'll notice that the CPU Freq is still running at max Freq 2314 MHz. Tested even with...

@ up I had tried in the past 2 - 3 times to unlock GPU/CPU/RAM freq/voltage, but sadly failed. Anyway i've an last new idea that could work, but actually the priority is to make this kernel 100 % stable and then to build AOSP with my optimizations. After that i'll try again with OC.

Hi, you need to update first to Android 4.1.2. To be able to flash a ROM with ODIN you need *.tar.md5 packages, so you must unpack the *.zip package, there you find the *.tar.md5 packages and the *.pit file. Follow carefully the installation method here from post #1.

There are a lot of temp sensors .. not only 3. Anyway, because CPU/GPU are very closely, the big CPU heats up the GPU and vice versa. Anyway, when you guys runs CPU-only bench/heat tests, and you see only something like 65 °C, then the app reads the wrong sensor ... it's very likely GPU sensor...

I don't think so. If you set 95 °C then it goes up to around 100 °C if you run Geekbench, for very short time indeed, that's why you even won't notice the heat with your hands. 55 °C was probably only GPU Temp, but never ever CPU Temp. The real heat starts from 50 % progress in geekbench .. due...

Right ! - But keep in mind, once you re-open the app it'll be set again to the previous config. That means you could write a script like this for several apps you want to move to little and then execute the script in a loop that checks your apps every 20 or 30 secs to be in the little cpu...

You have filesystem error on /data partition. Sometimes such errors are autofixed on boot. Anyway if the driver can't repair it on boot, then it's likely that it'll reboot again.
