Post Ways to unlock bootloader of japanese so 02g converted to international d5803?

You only want to install 4.4.4 temporarily, to install a custom recovery, so it doesn't matter what language it is. And I would try installing Dual Recovery without downgrading first. It might work. I don't know. It will work for any OFFICIAL ROM. If you want unofficial, you have to unlock...

You don't need to unlock the bootloader to root. There are several ways to do it, but what I did was: - install dual recovery @ http://nut.xperia-files.com/html/xzdualrecovery-manual.html (you might need to downgrade to stock 4.4.4 first @...

The only thing I can think of is: in the compartment where the SIM card is, there is a white plastic slip that you can pull out. It will have the model number on it. Mine specifically says "Model: D5803". You have to pull the strip almost all the way out to read it. I recommend using a pin...

I have Android 4.0.4 in my Mini-Pro, and it's still supported by Whatsapp. I haven't tried/used the other two, though. I still use it as my main phone, since it is very compact and has a physical keyboard. I basically use a mobile phone for text messaging and camera.
