Post Volte Working in Cricket wireless?

Not weird at all AT&T (Cricket) is just weird on the whole VoLTE thing. I honestly think their handset guys hate the network guys trying to get rid of UMTS traffic. Very few and far between BYOD Android phones work on VoLTE even though they are perfectly capable with AT&T/Cricket.

I haven't done the guide yet, as I've only seen one other person confirm it. Not sure how many other variants there out there or even if they could check if some of those variants are bootloader locked though.

That's still band 13. 5230 is the standard Verizon EARFCN for band 13.

I use the SignalCheck Pro app as like the notification and notes on sites. Do you ever see other bands? Another great app is CellMapper. Maps out your area and estimates tower locations, shows the bands etc. Crowdsourced app, pretty awesome app and website.

Post Anyone have 2x Carrier Aggregation working on LTE? (Qualcomm)

Yep, it should be showing band 13 in the CA mix or possibly band 2 if deployed in your market. Which model is this?

Run a speed test in the background on LTE and flip over to NSG. Scroll one screen over and see if it has 1 or 2 carriers listed. Feel free to screenshot.

Post Anyone have 2x Carrier Aggregation working on LTE? (Qualcomm)

Actually any carrier than supports CA and has it deployed in your area. You'll need root and to install Network Signal Guru to check. If we get a few checks of things out there and we find more with it disabled then I'll do the guide otherwise it would be kinda pointless.

I'm not sure if there any non-Qualcomm variants of this phone so if there isn't please let me know. I'm curious if anyone has carrier aggregation working on their devices? I have the unlocked US XT1806 variant and noticed I wasn't seeing the speeds on LTE I was supposed to be seeing. I...

    Post New June images

Wasn't this dealing with two different modems since one wasn't approved by AT&T? I know I tried the new modem and it killed my battery life, or at least like it felt like it did. I went to the modem in the first image of the two they released. I haven't looked at these two new images yet.

Any ideas on why some of the dark themes listed in the FAQ such as Swift Dark show as incompatible? I am running the latest CMTE version on the N6. I have a weird issue since going to this ROM. I can no longer pull an IP from my work WiFi that has a hidden SSID. It just keeps trying over. I tried my stock Nexus5 and it works fine but I haven't gone back stock on the Nexus6 yet to see if this fixes the issue yet. Any thing odd in the wifi...

Post why is the sling TV so expensive? 20$ ?

Too expensive for us too. We haven't had cable or satellite since last summer. We use Netflix, Amazon and an OTA DVR for our needs. During the trial of Sling we just didnt use it. It felt like going backwards. Turning on the TV to see what they wanted us to watch along with the commercials just...

Doesn't work that way. PRLs simply have a scan or don't scan switch for LTE. Your phone has been scanning for those other LTE networks for a couple years already.

Post [RC-FAQ]>> Frequently Asked Questions for Motorola Moto 4G/LTE [Updated: 2015/11/13]

I'm looking at doing a root and recovery install on a stock 4.4.4 version of the Moto G LTE US version. The owner said it updated to 4.4.4 recently and I wanted to make sure there wasn't anything weird you guys are running into before I jump into some older guide. I'm hoping this phone is easy...

That's controlled on the carrier side. When on LTE and especially on triband devices the PRL goes out the window.

That's amazing. I hear the next PRL coming out upgrades the processor speed and makes the LTE'z MOAR faster.

Any other PRL would give you the same Sprint experience except for adding EVDO roaming for those times you do not have service from Sprint.

As expected, nothing earth shattering, no additional signal and/or speeds will be gained. Mainly only saw a 6502 SID removed in Texas from roaming partners. Others were just some additional channel scans but that won't change much.

Glad to see CNexus and the others keeping the S3 going! I might just have to take a look at the ROM upgrade and see how difficult it would be to upgrade my ROM. I don't have the phone anymore and have limited access to one so it would take me a bit of time.
