    Post [ROM][11][SURYA/KARNA][NEW] PixelExperience [AOSP]

As stated in the last update post this ROM includes firmware and vendor (CAF one) so it does not matter which vendor you have as it will be overwritten. As also stated in the same post OrangeFox recovery should not be used and only TWRP 3.5.1+ will work flawlessly. In fact I used OrangeFox to...

You have an option in Magisk to hide itself in Settings / App / Hide the Magisk App. It reinstall the App with another name and prevent some apps to detect Magisk.

Hi, how did you installed ANX cam ? Which version and were did you got it ?
  11. Howell

    Post [ROM][11][SURYA/KARNA][NEW] PixelExperience [AOSP]

I used the OTA update but I had a problem because I used OrangeFox recovery (I know the dev told not to use it but I wanted to see what the problem was). Updated went smoothly but it erased recovery. So I flashed back last TWRP and then Magisk (canary) and I was good to go.

    Post [ROM][11][SURYA/KARNA][NEW] PixelExperience [AOSP]

I have no problem so far with 21/05/21 version. I flashed TWRP 3.5.2_10 and Magisk 23 (canary version) and SafetyNet passes without any module. I only hide Magisk Manager and use Magisk to hide itself to the apps like banking apps and Google ones.

No it's not. You need an official vendor to run this ROM.

    Post [ROM][11][SURYA/KARNA][NEW] PixelExperience [AOSP]

I'm using 12.0.7;0 vendor (original one of my X3) and I first dirty flashed from OF the PE rom. Then I flashed PE+ and now I update via updater within the ROM (which using OF recovery).

    Post [KERNEL][SURYA] Optimus Drunk Kernel v11.28 [26-05]

If you look 2 posts back it is stated that, at the moment, only crxroid and waveos (and an older PE version) are compatible. So you have 2 choices : - keep 11.24 with Corvus (hoping Corvus supports OSS vendor soon, you may also ask Corvus' dev) - change ROM for crxroid or waveos to use 11.25

Strange because I have no SD card so I use Internal storage too without any problem. I use OrangeFox and decryption works great. Maybe you use an old or bad TWRP and if so you should try using latest OrangeFox recovery.

After installing ANX (the 3 zips) on PE+, every time I start my phone I have this error : in French : Scanner s'arrête systématiquement in English : Scanner keeps stopping An idea on how to correct that or what is it ?

Post Poco X3 NFC Android 11 Global EU available now

Android version 🤣 More seriously : Android 11 version is still reserved to EU testers for now... So you could expect more bugs and less features than the official release based on Android 10. Post [ROM][MIUI][surya] Xiaomi.eu ROM for POCO X3 NFC

As stated in OP, Fastboot ROM is no more provided. It was provided until TWRP for X3 is available. Now they only provide recovery flashable version. And I can't see the benefits of flashing through Fastboot instead of TWRP.
  34. Howell

    Post [ROM][11][SURYA/KARNA][NEW] PixelExperience [AOSP]

IMHO if you are on a previous PE version you should indeed update via settings as it is intended to (provided you have a compatible recovery as TWRP or OrangeFox) and no need to factory reset. This way you can keep your data. I don't see what you mean by "to avoid problems" as I always update...

You probably did something wrong as this occurs mainly with bad flash. Try to start again the flash process and beginning with ROM download. NFC read works ok if it's reading non writable tag. Writing and reading a rewritable tag fail with NFC crashing and having to reboot. It's fairly common in custom ROMs unfortunately... BUT the dev and I tested a little mod (he did it and I tested it) that enables writing and reading writable...

Post [ROM][MIUI][surya] Xiaomi.eu ROM for POCO X3 NFC

This is a deprecated install when the ROM was only in the fastboot form because at that time no recovery was available. Now the ROM is only recovery flashable form. So just forget that line and flash through recovery (either TWRP or OFox). 😉
  40. Howell

Post [ROM][MIUI][surya] Xiaomi.eu ROM for POCO X3 NFC

IMHO none. It's only the official ROM minus some bloatware and with some optimization. It's a MIUI ROM and that's a downside for me but that's a matter of taste. If you like MIUI go for it. If not, try another ROM.

Once you're in flashboot plug your phone to your PC and a new device should appear in the device manager named something like adb interface. If not, reinstall adb drivers or change your usb cable and/or usb port.

To be simple : your flash went wrong probably with a bad rom download or a bad flash method. If I were you I'd reread the post on installing Xiaomi.eu rom and redownload the whole. Install OrangeFox recovery with the corresponding thread in the forum and ask if you're still lost 😉 By the way...
