If you do find an issue with the ROM, you can post that issue here if you would like. However, the best thing to do is post it on SODP's bug tracker, so that they can fix it. https://github.com/sonyxperiadev/bug_tracker

Does miracast work? I know that google took that feature out, but i hope its still in this rom enabled. In other roms (lineage) if i try to miracast, it can find the receiver, but when i try to actually connect to it, it stucks on a soft reboot. Can someone test this out for me? (ps, you can...

I used Ubuntu 18.04, and installed adb and fastboot from the Ubuntu repository. I did not need any drivers, as Ubuntu Linux was able to talk to fastboot right out of the box. Literally, the above steps was all I did. Not bashing Windows, but Android runs a Linux kernel, and most Linux...

So, some good news, work on the 4.14 kernel is progressing from the SODP, so hopefully a build with that kernel will be coming soon. This build has the 4.9 kernel, which is working very solid, as it has been my daily driver for about 10 days now.

Great question. So after installing ROM and setting up as you like, then reboot into the bootloader and use the command: $ fastboot boot ./(nameOfTwrpFile) This will load TWRP. Once in TWRP, you will have to accept the ability to change your system by sliding the slider. Then select backup...

Welcome, and I'm glad you like the software. So, to be clear, do you mean that after you install aosp, and you fastboot reboot, you no longer have twrp? If so, this is normal. There currently is no permanent twrp for our device, because there is no separate recovery partition. Or do you mean...
