Post Unlocked Note 9 (SM-N960U1) on Verizon overseas

Your number will be the same, but I highly advise against paying for Verizon's stupidly expensive international plans. I have the same phone and service, and will be going overseas at the end of this month to Japan and Thailand. I bought myself a Google Fi sim card to use as it seems to be the...

Post Play Store downloads/updates stuck at 99%

This is the same issues I've been having, especially since updating to Android Pie. Only small fix I found was just closing all apps and run Device Care on a download, then it worked. I don't know if this is an actual fix though.

Post I can't believe how many issues I've encountered since Pie update

Thanks for the links and guide tips to downgrade to Oreo, but I enjoy One UI too much to give up on that user experience. I still have my Note 8 and I know it benefited significantly from the pie update to have it last all day unlike before on Oreo.

Thread I can't believe how many issues I've encountered since Pie update

Hello all, I have the 960U1 US Unlocked version of the Note 9 I've had since Day 1 release of last August. It's quite the powerhouse of a phone, and has everything of what you want in a smartphone. I was aggravated by how late the Pie update came, but I never expected how many issues came along...

I downloaded, and ran both the xml files that does 1.5 and 2.4 aperature. Both night sight shots I've made still had green tint. Tried doing the suggested in the comments section, but still green tint shows. Plus, the details is worst, and not as good as what beta6 did.

Post Unlocked US Note 9 December Update

I've been feeling pretty impatient and ticked off about how their treating their customers who shelled out for their $1k top grade smartphone of 2018 with being the last ones to update to Pie. This is the worst and should not have taken this long to update.

Post Working Google Camera for Snapdragon Note9 only!!

I tried this, and it still relaunches with Game Tools. Even with the app launched, it doesn't work. The camera doesn't open for viewing, and crashes as soon as I swipe to video. I explained in my post that it doesn't work. It's still treated as a game for whatever reason.

Post Working Google Camera for Snapdragon Note9 only!!

I don't know why this keeps happening for me, but I downloaded the Google Camera build that allows switching of aperture and it keeps installing as a game on my Note 9. Post The new Bixby 2.0 is dumber than the old one!

Bixby is terrible, like the general public agrees on, but the phone itself is not. I have both the Note 8 and Note 9, and the Note 9 is a wonderful upgrade from the Note 8. Bigger battery, better camera, and a nicer "whiter" screen. I mainly use Google Assistant anyways, and it's a much better...

Bixby has its merits. I still use Google 95% of the time due to its smooth performance searching things as well as having 110% accuracy in understanding over Bixby. It's just for some of the specific functions of the phone itself that I want to see how Bixby does that made the Note 8 pretty...

Post Very tempted for the Best Buy offer + my birthday coupon, but is it worth it?

The taste of victory is pretty sweet! ? And I asked them about my Note8 currently being in a device payment plan. Really, I could still sell the phone for profit and still continue paying it off at the end of the two years because it's easy to just switch Sims and just go on with your day.

Nice to hear from a fellow Note8 user. I was debating about if it is really worth it, but I would really like a fatter battery for sure! I'm not going to do anything to hand over the Note 8 though, so passing up the S8+ is my full intentions.

Post Very tempted for the Best Buy offer + my birthday coupon, but is it worth it?

Oh uh, the Best Buy deal only allowed one trade in device, so it would be the S8+. That phone is eligible for $450 towards the Note 9. The birthday coupon takes off 10% from the regular price, so that's $100. That's how it came to be 550 off the phone. The Note 8 could just sit with me or I can...

Post New Device Maintenance with Oreo

It's one of the things that makes Samsung phones great, and it's all because of Verizon's stupidity to remove it. Samsung also has their own Caller ID included into their firmware, but Verizon removes that as well because they wouldn't make any money.

Post From Note 4 > 8 it's been six months, guys. I hate this phone.

With all that's provided today by Android, I almost see no reason for root. And it's quite odd to have broken 4 S-Pens. That's about $100 in value dropped like that. But the whole no physical button is not enough of a reason to hate the Note 8 at all. Samsung was just finally becoming part of...
