    Thread Explanation of build.prop Values

Have you ever wondered what the different things in build.prop mean? Well, I compiled a list of all of the properties and explained almost all of the lines and what they do. This build.prop is from the Nexus 6 running Android 5.1, but these values should apply to just about every device. If any...

If the MODEMST1 partition gets damaged and is unreadable it restoreds it from fsg. It isn't anything that is user configurable, and won't restore radio settings.

Post [Q] POST OTA Problems with screen during phone calls

I had the same issue earlier today. It was the Zagg glass screen protector that caused the problem!
  11. photonicgeek

Post Screen goes black when you make a call on 5.1, try this.

You should call Zagg at 18007009244 . I just called and they said that it was the first reported case, and that if enough people called in, they would investigate. They also said that you can remove the existing screen protector, use some other one, and just get a warranty replacement if/when a...

Post How to Avoid Verizon Bloat on Verizon Nexus 6?

The thing is, though, the bloat that gets installed is an application or two like the Verizon account manager and whatever. It really doesn't install bloat like Flipboard or Dropbox. I recommend leaving the SIM in the phone to properly activate the device when being set up, or you risk certain...

I have some bad news. Post Nexus 6 released on Verizon February 26th ?

I work at a Best Buy and the Verizon representative and I are pretty good friends. I asked him when the Nexus 6 was coming out for verizon and he said February 26 and showed me his memo. I wasn't allowed to take a picture of it, but I saw for myself it is coming on Feb. 26th. :p

Post How to get a Verizon nano sim for the Nexus 6

I work at a Best Buy. They gave me a sim card just because I asked for one. They cost $20, so not exactly cheap, but you don't have to wait. Tell them that you need to get a new SIM card and they may give you one.

Not all too much right now. There are a few custom kernels. Xposed and stuff isn't available either.

Post [TOOL] [SYSTEM] Debdroid V5 Linux Sub-System KALI Linux

Yes and no. NetHunter itself will work without the kernel, but you won't get many of the added features that the (still incomplete) kernel provides.

Post [TOOL] [SYSTEM] Debdroid V5 Linux Sub-System KALI Linux

Mostly working. Everything except the external wifi is running fine (from what I understand. Someone else makes the kernels.). NetHunter itself is running fine, but the custom android kernel is where the good stuff is! Supposedly the N9 supports monitor mode with its built in chipset. We'll...

    Post [Toolkit] Nexus Multitool

So, it seems that something happened and the device didn't wipe your storage properly. Reboot into the bootloader and run the commands: ~/Nexus-Multitool/all/tools/mac-fastboot wipe data ~/Nexus-Multitool/all/tools/mac-fastboot wipe cache Let me know if it helps!

    Post [Toolkit] Nexus Multitool

I have the file with the updates, but XDA won't let me upload it. If you would like the update, go to the "settings and options" menu and select the "Update Nexus Multitool" Once updated, it should show version v0.12 when you run the script.

    Post [Toolkit] Nexus Multitool

Thanks so much! :D I will update the script to reflect the need for git, and the unexpected operator is probably an error on my part. It was supposed to be the menu option to decrypt the device. I will take a look when i get home and fix the errors!

It will work independently. This script just assumes you don't have it installed, and downloads it to its own directory in the ~/Nexus-Multitool/all/tools directory.
