I suspect the only way to achieve what I think you're after is to go back to full stock, through use of odin, then debloat manually, which should require root anyway . It's unlikely any modded rom will allow automated updates, in any case, each update would undo the roms improvements. This rom...

Unfortunately Samsung are no longer doing updates for this device, most of my work has been trimming down and tweaks to their firmwares. So unless something major becomes available for it, I'm unlikely to be publishing any more. If anyone comes up with something worth investigating I'm willing...

Yes, NullCode is correct an issue cropped up with the fingerprint sensor earlier, due to an error on my part , but that was resolved with the latest / subsequent builds to that, so best option is to check you have the latest build and re flash. For simplicity try flashing the latest straight...

It is heavily debloated, its just that you can't remove everything, some apps are essential, some are useful for most but not for some, so a compromise has to be reached. The best way I've found to selectively remove them is to use titanium backup. It'll delete the apps but it also allows you...

No, a small script appears in yellow in the top left, but no prompt or power button requirement. My tab s6 cycles through the screens you mention, however if you ignore the first, ie,not press the power button, after a pause on the first screen, it will still proceed to the boot screen in any case

As the deployment of magisk is via flashing the zip in the standard method, but just actioned by the rom zip, it should be identical. I, like most people, have a number of bank logins, they all accept the root, none of them required extra actions, but I have other apps, which due security would...

Not having tried, I'd suggest you'd need an earlier bootloader to get it to boot, often rolling the bootloader back that far is not possible. All the roms are available with a search on android file host, https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=204578

It makes sense that the bootloader was corrupted when the issue occurred, I'm not familiar with the method required but I'd expect the card would have to be a complete image of the bootloader. I once rooted an amazon kindle by that method, years ago. The bootloader is available in the stock...

Having said that it explains the process but refers back to xda for the required files. I've never done this, so I'll have a look around. I'd suggest if you find one recently created for another device you ask there for information on creating one or if they could create one for you.

Unfortunately there was an error in the last rom, leading to the encryption disable not actioning properly during install. I have built a new version which fixes the error (Tweaked 5.1b), a quick read of the T820 thread below will lay out the issue. Those who have flashed a Dm-Verity disable...

Post [SOLVED] Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 has treble support now?

Not sure re the flashing, I haven't tried it. If you do try just be comfortable with recovery back from basic firmware. Often people get stuck, think it's bricked, but it just needs to get to download - stock - and back that way. Let me know how you get on

When I did the flashing, I found it a smoother process. When doing a wipe and flash I found it occasionally tripped the unofficial binaries prompt, not sure why, it's possible I made an error at the time. As this update from Samsung was mainly a security and fine tuning change, I realised that...

To get the data to mount you'll need to format data, then reboot to twrp. Then if you check the mount section it should be mounted /or will mount. Note as you are formatting data, you will want to backup your internal storage first.
  32. R

    Post [ROM] SM-T820 TWEAKED....................[rom] sm-t820 tweaked

Unfortunately it's not that simple these days If you back up the internal sdcard to your external card (simple copy paste) you can restore that after. The format data will erase the personal data and the personal apps, best backup I've found for that is titanium backup.

Sorry for the delay in answering. Rooting and flashing has become a bit more fiddly /difficult in the last couple of years. For a first time experience you need to proceed slowly and soundly, making sure you're fully familiar with each step as you go. Your first task is to get TWRP installed...

Debloating can be a contentious issue, useful apps for some are a waste for others, the debloat here has to be a compromise, but is extensive, you could remove Excel yourself. As for chrome it was necessary as it's used for the initial setup process if the tablet is wiped before flashing...

The rom is basically the same as the previous version 5.0, but is updated to the new firmware from SAMSUNG, CTD5. This has a security update as usual, but is a fine tuning of the initial PIE version the last was based on. Details of that are always difficult to ascertain, it is the latest dated...

You need to format data after flashing, and then reboot twrp, and check data mounted before you reboot system. If riru edxposed is operating fine for others why should it make your tablet bootloop? There has to be another cause, something individual to your tablet. If your data is not mounting in TWRP you need to format data, note, not wipe. Then reboot twrp from the twrp menu. Data should then mount...
