    Post [APP][ROOT] LMT Launcher v2.9

I understand your reasoning for doing this, but if you're going to break everyone's app, at least make sure they are able to download the latest version... App was working great for long time. Suddenly stops working due to built in forced expiration. Can't download new version. Stuck with...

    Thread Going from 4.4(Not 4.4.4) to 5.1

Hey guys. I haven't updated my phone since 4.4 (Not 4.4.4) because I've done all kinds of tweaks & added xposed & such. I've been really happy with my phone, so I purposely disabled OTA updates. Well, after all these years it's time for me to wipe & start over. I'd like to keep it official...

Post How To: Back Cover Swap. From Midnight Blue to Cloud White

Plastidip takes 7 days to fully cure. I dipped my motorcycle several months ago and it's still fine (My knees rub on one of the dipped areas). Plastidip will scuff easily, but it's pretty durable if applied correctly. (I recommend at least 6 heavy layers, 30-45 minutes between each layer...

Post [Q] Wave to turn on display lollipop feature.

It never was a feature to begin with, it was a bug due to an overly sensitive proximity sensor that began when they released 4.4.4. (It did not exist in 4.2, or 4.4) The original intent was to detect when the phone is removed from your pocket or flipped over (when laying face down) Nowhere did...

    Post SlimPort adapters

I never said it COULDN'T do that. Just that it wasn't the intended usage, and it's much more of a hassle to setup. It was weeks/months before mirroring even showed up on ChromeCast.
  7. A

    Post SlimPort adapters

Two different devices, with two different intended uses. Chromecast is a streaming device. It requires internet, and a "controller device". You can't run straight chromecast with just the 1 device. It gets URLs handed to it, then it does the streaming itself. (Sure, there have been various apps...

Post CONFIRMED Official Lollipop 5.1 for Moto X 2013 [UPDATED 06-19-2015]

There is no wave to wake. I don't see them implementing it ever, because it wasn't a feature to begin with. It was an unintended bug. The real "wave to wake" on the 2014 Moto X is triggered by IR sensors on the face that the 2013 Moto X does not have. The reason wave to wake ever worked on the...

    Post quick charger 2.0

I believe the Moto X 2013 only supports Quick Charge 1.0, but 2.0 chargers are backwards compatible. (The phone will only take as much juice as it can) All this means is that it wont charge as fast as a 2.0, but it's still faster than regular charging.

Post CONFIRMED Official Lollipop 5.1 for Moto X 2013 [UPDATED 06-19-2015]

The hand wave gesture mentioned in the manual in your first link is for Talkback. That has nothing to do with the wave gesture people are talking about. (For active display) Notice in that youtube review in your second link he has 4.4.4. The wave to wake thing was introduced in 4.4.4, but not...

Post CONFIRMED Official Lollipop 5.1 for Moto X 2013 [UPDATED 06-19-2015]

Then that would lead me to believe it is a bug. It didn't do it in 4.2, and it doesn't do it on 4.4. So it was something introduced in 4.4.4. I'm looking at the release notes for 4.4.4 and it doesn't mention that feature anywhere. It's not a feature. It wasn't intended to work that way, it was...

Post CONFIRMED Official Lollipop 5.1 for Moto X 2013 [UPDATED 06-19-2015]

What version does this work on? I'm on 4.4 and it does not do this. Also, hitting the table is easier, because I don't have to be in arm's length to activate the screen.

Post CONFIRMED Official Lollipop 5.1 for Moto X 2013 [UPDATED 06-19-2015]

What is the "wave to wake" that everybody is complaining about being removed? My phone has never done that. Are you referring to the proximity sensor that detects taking the phone out of your pocket? If you cover the screen for a second and then remove your hand it'll wake up. That's not quite...

Post CONFIRMED Official Lollipop 5.1 for Moto X 2013 [UPDATED 06-19-2015]

So much whining and moaning. Geez, give it a break. We get it, you're upset because you can't have the latest update right gosh darn now. Boo hoo, get over it. It'll come when it comes. I don't really see what the big deal is? I'm not even planning on updating, I'm still on 4.4 (Not 4.4.4) and...

Post [MOD][XPOSED] Music2SD (v1.8) - Make Google Play Music save music where you want

If anyone has the 1.61 version would they mind sharing? I can't find it anywhere, and as the poster said above me it's not in the xposed repository anymore.

    Post No Love

Well I'm not exactly wanting these features in a ROM because they're kinda niche I guess, but the reason I'm using xposed is for: NFC unlock while screen is off Individual app dpi settings (As well as forcing immersion mode on in a per-app basis. I tend to lower the dpi on everything and...

    Post No Love

It's not that I prefer Stock+Xposed.....there's just no other way to get the features I want and retain Active Display+Touchless control. Both of which I use several times daily. Duuuurrr good for me. Maybe I should just stay on stock, hurrdurr.

    Post [Q] Active display Issue

Just to reiterate what everyone is saying, this behavior is normal. It doesn't use much battery at all, and it's very handy. I prefer it this way. I can just knock hard on whatever surface the X is sitting on and it shows me the time and/or notifications.

Post [Q] Touchless control and active display is not working for CyanogenMod on my moto x

You don't. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the only ROMs that have Touchless & Active are stock-based ROMs. So AOKP, AOSP, PA, & CM ROMs do not have these features.

Post Green blinking light for notifications.. Nice you have to manually activate it

It's not a notification light. It's a light for when you are charging a dead phone. It cannot be setup as a notification light....did you even read the article you linked us to? The Moto X has Active Display, so it doesn't need a notification light....the screen IS the notification light. The...

Post Old google maps version 6.14.3 runs well on moto x

I didn't find it difficult to get directions from two pins. You just got to star/save them. Then when you are inputting the directions start/end pick the starred locations for your departure/arrival. (The pin didn't show up here, but I saved this location using a pin, just like the 1st image)...

Post [DELTA] Moto X CDMA GSM Google Play Edition 55 Languages (Unlocked Bootloader)

Thanks for the recommendation. I tried it, but it has nowhere near the amount of customization as Gravitybox. I'm missing many, many options with that tool. I've wasted $2 in worse ways(*EDIT* I shouldn't say waste. I don't mind giving P3Droid money. :P). I really wanted to like that module, as...

Post [DELTA] Moto X CDMA GSM Google Play Edition 55 Languages (Unlocked Bootloader)

Q9Nap, I have a few questions for ya! You say this is "patterned after" the GPE Moto G, I'm not sure the actual meaning of that. Specifically, is this based off of the Stock Motorola ROM, or is it based off of the Moto G GPE ROM? I ask because some of the changes Moto made from the stock...

Hello! Thanks for your hard work on this module. I've run into two small issues with the "Lockscreen Disable" quick settings tile. Post [Q] Bad Camera on VZW Moto X?

Is it a developer edition? Dev editions can be unlocked & maintain warranty. If it's a motomaker version, then yes they will probably charge you once they get the phone & see that it is unlocked. Once you unlock a non-dev edition, you lose your warranty.

    Post Motorola Clearance Accessories!!

The one on the moto site is a P793 with only 1400 mAh, while the one on the Amazon link is a P893 with over 1800 mAh. They're both too small to be of any real use, even @ only $10. I managed to grab a 5,000 mAh pack for $15 a while back.

Double tap to unlock? That seems really insecure, anyone could unlock your phone? I'm not familiar with the feature so I might be misunderstanding. Also, thread title says "wake", not "unlock".

    Post Possible 4.4.2 bounty?

Some of us have no option. Verizon is the only carrier that gets an acceptable signal in my area. AT&T has about 75% of the coverage of Verizon, and all the other carriers get zilch. Plus, I would be throttled in the first day if I had T-Mobile, grandfathered unlimited data is amazing!

This is hard to answer, because there are many factors in sound quality. Does the Moto X even support APT-X? What are your source files? Are they lossless? If not, what kind of bit-rate are they? OP, I know you said you can't unlock your phone yet, so this solution isn't for you. But, for anyone else reading who has root: There is an xposed module called Signal Icons AOSP that will let you get rid of the silly 4G icon & replace it with the normal 4G or LTE icon...

Post [FYI] Dim Screen! Moto has a "White Glove" customer satisfaction dept! Maxx'ed now

I have no idea what's going on in this thread, and all the blurry cell-phone pics without any kind of white balance are not helping me understand. If you're on your 3rd or 4th phone, I'm inclined to believe it's not the phone, but your expectations. Tho, Moto cannot tell a customer that...
