    Post [ROM][Stable][OFFICIAL]Colt-Enigma - Android10 v6.4 [10.0.0_r46] [11th Sept'20]

The really important question is, does it support encryption now? Experimental Los 17 by our maintainer supports encrypted storage from day 1 even on pre alpha. I would really suggest to get in touch with him and I'm sure he'll help you fix encryption issues.

    Post [ROM][SDCLANG-6][microg ready][OMS exPosures]NLOS-16.0] - 20210714

I have the Indian/Asian model, yes. I didn't do anything special either. Just flashed this rom on top of oos 5.0.8. I also flashed the 9.0.5 firmware with 5.0.8 keymaster to avoid formatting internal storage. Like i said, Volte indicator doesn't appear but calls connect fine and quality is...

I'm using JIO and VoLTE works flawlessly for me. However, I've never seen the VoLTE indicator in status bar, and I honestly don't care as long as VoLTE works fine, but it works regardless.

    Post [ROM][SDCLANG-6][microg ready][OMS exPosures]NLOS-16.0] - 20210714

Just to make sure I perform these steps correctly the next time my phone dies in pocket (I hope it won't). Once i force restart it, do I have to force reboot it into recovery directly or can i reboot it normally and then select recovery by pressing volume up button when prompted? Once I am in...

Hello nvertigo67 I'm experiencing the phone dying while in my pocket from last 3-4 days. No new app has been installed and no changes have been made. Ive taken logs using SysLog app and the last_kmsg option was greyed out when I started my phone by pressing power button for several seconds. I'm...

    Post [ROM][Official][Nightly] LineageOS 17.1 for OnePlus 3/3T

Sorry to bother again, but can i ask what gapps did you flash with this? I've observed on other devices' forums that gapps are usually an issue with 10 ROMs being beta. So wanted to get a version that works as it should

I'm not sure if you've noticed before but thet Mobile Network Standby you see in battery details has been there since Lollipop (Android 5), IIRC. I had a OnePlus one then and this was the most discussed topic, how to fix mobile standby battery drain. I use mobile data 80-90% during the weekdays...

    Post [ROM][SDCLANG-6][microg ready][OMS exPosures]NLOS-16.0] - 20210714

For my usage pattern (apps, mobile data, way i use my phone),I've not seen a single issue or bug in the last 2 months. With NLOS, you can always go with the latest release. However, everyone has a unique way of using their phone so there could be something broken for you. It's better to report...

    Post [ROM][SDCLANG-6][microg ready][OMS exPosures]NLOS-16.0] - 20210714

You really have no clue that OOS Pie and NLOS are two completely different ROMs and their respective kernels are NOT built to just flash & work on each other. 1. You shouldn't ask FK kernel queries in this thread. There is a separate thread for that and you should go there and ask any queries...

    Post [ROM][Stable][OFFICIAL]Colt-Enigma - Android10 v6.4 [10.0.0_r46] [11th Sept'20]

    Post [ROM][Stable][OFFICIAL]Colt-Enigma - Android10 v6.4 [10.0.0_r46] [11th Sept'20]

If you have ever formatted your /data partition before using TWRP and not stock recovery, it was un-encrypted at that point. However, I want you to understand that OOS has "enforced encryption" by default. What that means is, if you flash OOS on top an un-encrypted storage, it will re-encrypt is...

    Post [ROM][Stable][OFFICIAL]Colt-Enigma - Android10 v6.4 [10.0.0_r46] [11th Sept'20]

Decryption here means you are formatting, not just wiping, your /data partition. Hence removing encryption from the partition and deleting every single file on it.

    Post [ROM][Stable][OFFICIAL]Colt-Enigma - Android10 v6.4 [10.0.0_r46] [11th Sept'20]

    Post [ROM][Stable][OFFICIAL]Colt-Enigma - Android10 v6.4 [10.0.0_r46] [11th Sept'20]

Are you certain it doesn't support encrypted storage yet? That's what I asked in my previous post if it supports Full Disc Encryption (FDE) and nobody responded. I guess I'll have to wait a bit before I can try a rom. Great efforts though!

    Post [ROM][Stable][OFFICIAL]Colt-Enigma - Android10 v6.4 [10.0.0_r46] [11th Sept'20]

The only thing in concerned about is, does it support FDE by default? The early Pie builds didn't and people flashed them blindly, losing all internal data on encrypted storage

    Post [Kernel][Android 8.1 & 9 & 10 ]MadKernel Reborn 30 [Unified]

Not sure about the kernel but the OnePlus3 itself isn't "best" for playing cancerG. You should really consider a modern cheap mid-range phone to have miles better gaming performance.

    Post [ROM][SDCLANG-6][microg ready][OMS exPosures]NLOS-16.0] - 20210714

This rom is really stable and smooth. But what i dont get is, why the signal indicator is broken or shall I say uncalinbrated? I'm not sure what to call it. Even in locations where I had full signals on oos and usually my colleagues have full bars on same carrier, it shows 50-70% signal. At my...

    Post [Kernel][Android 8.1 & 9 & 10 ]MadKernel Reborn 30 [Unified]

It's not intended to increase "RAM size" or help with RAM usage. Like I said, there are some behind the scene scenarios where having zram enabled helps. My usage also never goes beyond 3-3.5 GB. That's why I requested it as user configurable. and Google still using 4 GB RAM in its flagship...

Actually, zram helps in some scenarios and Google officially recommends enabling some zram. Francisco and nvertigo both have enabled zram for the same reason. I'll get you the link to that post. Its a good read. Also, I wouldn't have asked for a useless feature in the first place. That's why...

Post [Launch Event Coverage] Mi POP July 17, 2019, New Delhi.

I am using OP3 as my main phone til this day, so yes while the development scene helps, i feel MIUI is not bad itself minus the ads. I am still on OOS stock ROM, with a custom kernel only. I feel Android has reached to a point where custom ROMs won't make much sense expect for when the device...

Idk I am still not sure about this. But I would really appreciate if someone actually using the Indian K20 or K20 Pro can comment on this. They promised to tone down ads starting MIUI 11 but Manu's statement could be India specific K20 series phones. I assume early buyers should be able to get...

Post Redmi K20 and k20 Pro will launch 17th July 2019

Samsung just released A80 with Snappy730G and the price is an eye-watering INR 48K. That's ridiculous. I am sure Poco F2 won't come this year. If it does, it'd be with a 730G or 730 chipset. No way Xiaomi is releasing a competitor to K20 Pro from one of their own sub-brands. ---------- Post...

Funk Wizard Have you changed camps from OnePlus to Redmi now? Never seen you so interested in some device other than OP flagships from past years. OP7 starts at INR 33K for 6+128 configuration. K20 Pro costs INR 31K for 8+256 option. How exactly is that "similar"? Also, why do you feel it's...

Why do you feel its overprices? I agree that K20 is overprices but I feel the K20 Pro prices are fine for the features they are offering. But I am curious to know why people think K20 Pro base variant is overprices? Just because it has MIUI or the Redmi brand has an image of being cheap and...

You are here from 6 years and yet you haven't learned that custom kernels/ROMs don't come with a guarantee. They are called "custom" for a reason and playing with these things, you should know to keep a data backup handy in case worst happens. The developer has uploaded a useful kernel and...

Considering you are so sure that these "features" will help you with smooth CancerG gameplay, can you explain how do these "features" work in related to CancerG's performance? Post Redmi K20 and k20 Pro will launch 17th July 2019

I'll wait for reviews from early adopters. I have never owned a Xiaomi device before and I am only inclined towards this because of its AMOLED panel. If the quality isn't as good as OnePlus panels or if the device has issues itself like people faced touch issues on Poco F1, I might skip it...

Post One plus 3 - OxygenOS 9.0.3 total disaster

I am using 9.0.4 with a custom kernel and it works smoothly, no issues with performance. Battery life is meh as compared to Oreo. I would highly recommend to do a factory reset once. If that doesn't help, you should definitely root your device and try custom kernels and ROMs.

I've been using your modded fw zip with official oos zip and I've zero issues. I really don't have time to wipe my entire device just to flash a ROM and your fw mod zip is a lifesaver.

    Post [Kernel-EAS][Custom|OOS]mcd-kernel[r12, r29]

Give it some time to settle. The test builds have been working fine in the performance department. Still the only kernel that can run cancerG on 720p resolution and 40fps on smooth graphics. r29 is working great so far for me.

    Post [Kernel-EAS][Custom|OOS]mcd-kernel[r12, r29]
