Multiple reasons. a) Where I live a new display is 170$. b) If I try a display repair and fail it would be worthless. c) Because I had multiple problems with my unit. Firstly the back panel came off, then the face unlock camera broke and now this. I'd rather replace it entirely than put more...

Soooooooooooooooooooo long story short my pixel broke. The display is totally dead. I found a replacement for ~470$. For me this is like 4 month's salary. If you enjoy my work and even use other stuff that uses my work, I would really appreciate lending me a hand. My paypal is...

We're spoofing from the 4xl to a pixel 4a, so all google features should still be there.

That's really strange. By any chance you have a telegram account? Instant messaging would help to debug it.

Have you granted the permissions? Open app info and see if it's granted or denied. Unfortunately I don't have the device and I don't develop for devices I don't have. If someone wants me to send a device to work on it that's alright with me.

Yessir. Just keep the "SU enabled" toggle disabled. When you need (if you need) SU you can enable it, do what you need, disable and you're passing CTS again. (remember to reboot when enabling/disabling)

So after a long time writing a driver, making an app for it and tested it very well I came up with something totally new are "revolutionary". This is the first time something like this has been made. Some kernels for this device already shipped builds with it but I wanted to make sure it's 110%...

Hotspot is fixed in the latest build. About the permissive stuff, I can do enforcing is it's wanted. Was just easier to stick to permissive to test stuff.

It was labeled "experimental" because the build was done on demand, not on the scheduled week day. It was done like this because I wanted to make sure the device builds on the team servers. It's the same build as the last one I put up. I can take a look.

Thanks, will try and make a build with it. I heard it works fine with FAT sdcard, will try and see if I can do something with exFAT. I don't have any sdcard to test myself so it's a rather wild guess. About JamesDSP? Sure I can look into integrating it.

I don't really see that needed, at least I don't know about any game that needs that much power, plus higher freq will throttle faster and most games run under sustained performance either way so the freq wouldn't be used.

Yes of course. Didn't try it myself. Magisk might be needed. You could try to pull the build.prop file, modify and push. DP1 is dead. Nop, I don't include such drivers. Not all apps see Kasu as valid.
  30. K

Yes, magisk isn't supposed to detect root. The apps just get root access automatically. And about build.prop in FKM, I swear it was there but I don't seem to find it either

Tried: "adb shell su setprop" ? Also, fkm has a build prop editor
