    Post [ROM][OFFICIAL] LineageOS 17.1 weeklies [osprey/merlin]

Can you describe more detailed what is necessary for this? I find lineage 17.1 on the Moto G3 with 1GB RAM does not run smoothly. But my biggest problem is, after the first clean installation of "LINEAGE-17.1-20210514-NIGHTLY-OSPREY-SIGNED" and activated encryption, the current TWRP...

Post Redmi Note 4 (Mido) Battery Drain

In terms of battery life, Zeelog's Android 10 with Kernel 3.18 is the best choice, for example, I have about 1-2% loss in flight mode in 24 hours, inactive with WLAN about 3-6% in 24 hours. Do a clean install.

Zeelog's Android 11 is stable so far, but it does not reach the battery life of its Android 10 with Kernel 3.18, unfortunately and furthermore the GPS reception is weaker.

I am not really impressed. WhatsApp, Signal, Firefox and Aqual Mail are mainly used. Adaptive brightness relatively dark, ambient display off. On average, I only get 5-6 hours SOT in 3 days. Over night i use the airplane mode. My 3 year old Redmi Note 4 easily achieved 9-10 hours with 4 days...

    Post [OTA-Sept 09 2021][4.9][ Fully Stable- High Perf. ROM][Android 11] LineageOS 18.1[MIDO]-Vanilla By Zeelog

A new feedback from me. With the new version lineage-18.0-20201114-UNOFFICIAL-mido my described problems are solved. I think it was a problem with the encryption. But I find the GPS signal weak compared to the Android 10 version lineage-17.1-20201105-UNOFFICIAL-3.18-mido, which was installed...

Is it correct that persist.img can be found in the original MIUI rom? But why should persit.img be corrupt when the following happened. Installation of Android 11, fingerprint sensor does not work. If safe start was activated, Android 11 could not be booted. Andriod 10 was then installed...

Two things don't work for me. 1. The fingerprint sensor 2. The safe start (to be found under Security -> Pin + Fingerprint) I wiped all partitions except internal data. Installed with Fox recovery. Flashing fingerprint_reset didn't help either. If I activate the safe start, it will hang for a...

    Post [OTA-Sept 09 2021][4.9][ Fully Stable- High Perf. ROM][Android 11] LineageOS 18.1[MIDO]-Vanilla By Zeelog

Well done, thank you very much. I've been using Zeelog's Android 10 for almost half a year. So far with the 3.18 kernel, as the battery life was not so good with the 4.9 kernel. Or is there a recommendation for a custom 4.9 kernel? But I'll give the 11 version a try.

Try Zeelogs Roms. https://github.com/zeelog/OTA/releases But be carefull with the Rom with kernel 4.9. For this Rom you need, for example the recovery from kud Project, twrp-3.3.1-3. https://kudnet.id/downloads/twrp/mido/ I am using lineage-17.1-20200910-UNOFFICIAL-3.18-mido.zip, with the 3.18...

For ROMs with 3.18 kernel I use the official TWRP 3.3.1-0. If I switch between different ROMS then a clean install is recommended, i.e. delete system, vendor, data and cache/dalvik. I installed this version with no problems using this procedure.

Yes, somehow the 10 ROMs still seem to be prolematic. Sometimes the ambient display hangs and does not switch itself off and the display remains active all the time. Aryan 3.18 build ran a week without a reboot with the Underground Kernel. I tend to locate the problem with the 4.9 kernel. Now...

Yes, Zeelog's release works okay so far. But battery drain is to mutch especially in airplane mode. Usually that was overnight so 0-1% with Zeelogs android 10 and 4.9 kernel it is 4-5%. But generally, with Android 10 Roms I also have with 3.18 kernels such a high battery drain.
