Post VIVID - ROM for PX5/PX6 with Android 10

I'm just walking through the things I've changed. Before making any changes the BT sound quality was much better. I updated my MCU in preparation of updating from android 8 to 10. I tried a different MCU first b/c it was easy. Next I'll remove the ROM and see if that improves.

I decided to remove trebuchet because I prefer lawn chair. Now I don't have the 'swipe up on home button' or pill style navigation. I'm stuck with the old triangle circle and square. Does new navigation require trebuchet to function? Any way to get that back other than dirty flashing? Do I...

    Post [ROM][PIE][OFFICIAL] lineage-16.0 for Pixels (marlin/sailfish)

I've noticed that my phone no longer autofills 2 step authentication texts. I've had this happen in both Google pay and device policy. It could be bc I'm using Google messages and gboard, both installed as user apps. Is this a permission issue?

I don't mind re flashing TWRP as it only one more command. When I update all of the lineage apps that I've uninstalled show back up. I.e. Email, messaging, Jelly, Dialer, Camera2... Etc. Further the Google Dialer that I put in priv-app gets moved back to user apps and I lose voicemail wifi...

    Post [ROM][PIE][OFFICIAL] lineage-16.0 for Pixels (marlin/sailfish)

This is how i believe it works (correct me if i'm wrong): TWRP should install the rom to the inactive (other) slot. Thats why you reboot to recovery in TWRP after install, it changes to the slot where the rom was installed. Then you flash GAPPs to the same slot, b/c thats where the ROM is...

Thread Mount android apps to sdcard

I've ordered a used Asus c101 with 16gb of storage. I think 16gb will likely be enough. However, I'd like to get android applications moved to the sdcard. I keep peeling back layers of the onion. You can't setup a google 'Work Profile' and have TWRP decrypt. Is there anything special I need to do? If I have a PIN set it asks for it when I boot the image and doesn't accept the correct PIN. I can install it with no PIN. But anytime I want to access twrp, I have to clear my PIN. Big hassle b/c I have to move my work account and then reinstall
