You are in the wrong thread (this is for enchilada). But yes - Gcam wont help with camera quality on other apps.

    Post [ROM][OFFICIAL][enchilada][11] LineageOS 18.1

I would do a clean flash on a used device from eBay. You never know what could be on there. But yeah, Gapps stay after OTA.

    Post [ROM][OFFICIAL][enchilada][11] LineageOS 18.1

Yup, my baseband version and vendor security patch is the same. Could it be gapps? People seem to be having some issues with OpenGapps. I'm using MindTheGapps.

    Post [ROM][OFFICIAL][enchilada][11] LineageOS 18.1

I'm still rocking the stable 11 (.0 I guess?) firmware. 11.1.1.1 is quite new, I haven't tested it yet. Since the LOS kernel at the moment is based on the first OOS 11 kernel, I'm sticking to it until 11.1.1.1 kernel source is out. So you could try the first stable OOS 11 vendor firmware and...

    Post [ROM][OFFICIAL][enchilada][11] LineageOS 18.1

Something is wrong at your end. Text on lock screen is not that small for me. Pin numbers are also not stretched out across the whole display. Are you running OOS11 vendor firmware? Can't say anything about the icons hiding behind the notch - haven't looked for that yet. As for color profiles...

    Post [ROM][OFFICIAL][enchilada][11] LineageOS 18.1

You could also go back to stock by flashing fastboot images of the stock ROM. As for your SIM - I don't know, maybe a misconfigured APN?

    Post [ROM][OFFICIAL][enchilada][11] LineageOS 18.1

I bet you didn't follow the official install instructions from the LOS wiki. Install: https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/enchilada/install Update the firmware if you never had used OOS11 on your device: https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/enchilada/fw_update Also, use MindTheGapps. To go back...

Post [Discussion & Feedback] OxygenOS 10.3.7 OTA for the OnePlus 6

Weird, it should work. At least it did on the open betas and 11.0 stable release. Did Magisk Manager throw some errors in the log while patching the boot image?
  9. CrysisLTU

    Post [ROM][OFFICIAL][enchilada][11] LineageOS 18.1

Seems like you have flashed the latest vendor firmware successfully. If you have WiFi on a stock ROM, but not on LOS18.1 - it's not a hardware issue, and therefore I suggest you put up an issue on LineageOS GitLab with logs (if you haven't already), you might get help there faster.
  10. CrysisLTU

    Post [ROM][OFFICIAL][enchilada][11] LineageOS 18.1

If you're happy with the ROM as it is, there's no need to mod just for the sake of modding. Plus, you'll have less issues or other unexpected behavior. Keep it simple, keep it clean. I personally just use Magisk for AdAway and Vanced, but there are alternatives (AdGuard, non-root Vanced). I...

    Post [ROM][OFFICIAL][enchilada][11] LineageOS 18.1

Go to settings, about phone, click on Android version. What's your baseband version? Also, there's no need to do such a clean install (MSM, local upgrade, etc.) If you properly flashed and can boot the latest LOS18.1 - then just upgrade the OOS vendor firmware via LOS recovery fastboot. You...

  13. CrysisLTU

    Post [ROM][OFFICIAL][enchilada][11] LineageOS 18.1

fastboot flash --slot=all worked fine for me, using latest platform-tools and LOS recovery. You should flash from LOS recovery fastboot, not via regular fastboot.
  14. CrysisLTU

    Post [ROM][OFFICIAL][enchilada][11] LineageOS 18.1

Your bootloader is unlocked, so you can skip that step. Make sure your platform-tools are up to date. That should fix the fastboot flash error.

    Post [ROM][OFFICIAL][enchilada][11] LineageOS 18.1

OOS11 vendor firmware is pretty much a requirement now. OOS10 firmware works just enough to boot, but it breaks WiFi, GPS, dash charging, probably more: https://review.lineageos.org/c/LineageOS/android_device_oneplus_sdm845-common/+/315213/ Stay on OOS11 vendor firmware. Also, use LOS recovery...

I'm not sure about Google Assistant - I'm using MindTheGapps and it's not working either. Edit: Actually, it works fine. Just had to set Google as the default assistant app. D'oh.

    Post [ROM][OFFICIAL][enchilada][11] LineageOS 18.1

Did you flash copy-partitions zip before the first LOS install? Also, just use LOS recovery - I don't think TWRP supports LOS OTA updates.
  19. CrysisLTU

    Post [ROM][OFFICIAL][enchilada][11] LineageOS 18.1

You probably didn't follow wiki instructions correctly. OTA updates work fine for me. If you are using Magisk - follow Magisk OTA procedure on their site.

    Post [ROM][OFFICIAL][enchilada][11] LineageOS 18.1

I never touched battery optimization for Gmail and it always worked fine. Today I disabled it on the latest LOS build with OOS11 vendor firmware and the issue is still there. Also, I'm not using TWRP, or restoring OOS 10. The issue is with OOS11 vendor firmware, not the actual OOS or LOS ROM.

I can confirm that audio quality is also affected through the headphone jack, not just Bluetooth.

    Post [ROM][OFFICIAL][enchilada][11] LineageOS 18.1

How is it a user issue when the issue is not there with OOS 10.3.12 vendor firmware?
  26. CrysisLTU

    Post [ROM][OFFICIAL][enchilada][11] LineageOS 18.1

Started to experience delayed Gmail notifications - they come up only after opening the app. This is the same behavior as on stock OOS11, so seems to be a OOS11 vender firmware issue, not LOS or Gapps. Thinking of downgrading to 20210831 for now. I assume I should just install OOS 10.3.12...

    Post [ROM][OFFICIAL][enchilada][11] LineageOS 18.1

Not sure, I don't use custom kernels. Check the thread for the kernel you are using, maybe you will find uninstall instructions there. But I guess you just dirty flash LOS.
  28. CrysisLTU

    Post [ROM][OFFICIAL][enchilada][11] LineageOS 18.1

You won't get much support running a custom kernel, especially now when OOS11 vendor firmware is so new. Try using stock Lineage kernel and see if your problems go away.

    Post [ROM][OFFICIAL][enchilada][11] LineageOS 18.1

Am I going crazy, or did Bluetooth audio EQ/quality changed with the latest build and OOS11 vendor firmware? I have and always had AudioFX disabled, by the way.

    Post [ROM][OFFICIAL][enchilada][11] LineageOS 18.1

  31. CrysisLTU

    Post [ROM][OFFICIAL][enchilada][11] LineageOS 18.1

Probably will be fixed once OxygenOS 11 vendor firmware support is implemented into LOS18.1 (which according to the changelog should be available on the next build) I experienced the same issue, however, after flashing a different firmware to my router (for other reasons than this bug. If...

Encryption works fine, for those who are wondering. Running latest LOS 18.1 + Lineage Recovery + MindTheGapps + Magisk. Will gapps and magisk survive OTA updates with encryption enabled? It seems that for some people TWRP works, for others it doesn't. If you just need root, flash magisk via fastboot and don't use TWRP for now to be safe. Otherwise, try some methods people have posted here on how to install TWRP on OOS11, and if it fails - flash back the magisk patched boot.img...

Post [Discussion & Feedback] OxygenOS 10.3.7 OTA for the OnePlus 6

Build date of the stable release is the same as open beta 3, so it's safe to assume they are identical. Therefore, you can't update from OB3 to stable without wiping. But I don't see the need to update from OB3 anyway, as it should be the same ROM.
