It's a software issue. Perhaps some developer would be able to find the root cause of this problem and maybe provide us with some adb commands to overwrite highest refresh rate even at lowest brightness

No, I have the Indian unit and we can't use 144Hz at lowest brightness. This has something to do with the software over-riding the manual settings

I tried the new Saturn live wallpapers (ported from miui 12) & I noticed black crush issue. However on using the screen balance app, I was able to minimise the black crush to certain extent. Download the zip file, reboot to twrp recovery, flash the rom (either dirty or clean flash as per your wish), reboot your device and after that flash the magisk

That's the problem only you are facing. I and others are able to use magisk on latest beta. Try dirty flashing the full zip again & then magisk zip. If even that doesn't work then go for clean flashing. You may use migrate app to backup your apps

Perhaps you haven't flashed dfe zip file. Check if you can access the internal storage from twrp recovery & reply.

Post Xiaomi Poco F1 [Firmware 11.0.6.0 |9.7.11 ,Unlock Bootloader,TWRP Recovery and Root]

What I've learnt so far is that if you're switching the roms which have been developed by 2 different developers then I'd recommend a clean flash. But if you're upgrading the rom version which is from the same developer then you can go for dirty flash.

Post Xiaomi Poco F1 [Firmware 11.0.6.0 |9.7.11 ,Unlock Bootloader,TWRP Recovery and Root]

I agree with fubo73. I boot to twrp and flash full rom zip file. This replaces the magisk internal files automatically. After that I boot the device into system once. And then, reboot to recovery to flash the magisk. It doesn't get into boot loop
