I have T715Y, and it's really slow to charge. The current monitor show that it only pull 0.45A. The charger itself capable of supplying more than 2A on other device. On the tablet, I try to monitor the current internally, and it said it connect to usb powered, not ac powered, and I already...

I am buying cheapest scope available with interchangeable c-mount lens, and I start to regret it. It's 1,3 mil IDR (around 90 usd), the same price as the phone it self. The cheapest, phone repair standard binocular start at twice that price. But I should go for that instead of this. I'll show...

    Post Battery Drain

I do remove the board, to see if there's any clear evidence of burned/short capacitors. And indeed I do have the urge to remove that pinky gummy blob, and ad some PC's cpu paste to it. But the fact that I still feel a good heat to the screen area directly below it, it means that it's still have...

    Post Battery Drain

Sadly though, I don't have access to any IR cam. I do indeed try cheaper method "ouweee" test like Rossmann did, first using bare finger, then using a some drop of IPA and see where the particular component that dried up first.
