    Thanks for the explanations! I'll have to try a powered hub. And the card I have is a class 6 kingston. Shouldnt be having those problems :( I'll try moving files onto the emmc.

    hmm, still no go. no sound coming out of both the internal speaker and the usb audio, the seek bar moves erratically. what can i do to check whats going on between the usb audio and the nook? dmesg?

    usb host has to be enabled on the NC, which hasnt been done yet. lots of hiss when the headphone out is enabled.

    Have to agree with rigy73 here. The nook color is a horrible sounding device. Probably the amp chip they used was bad.

    Also, this will power the NC very slowly. The NC charger outputs at 1900 mA while this outputs at 800 mA.

    used a transcend 8gb class 6 ran cm7 a few times, honeycomb a few times and nookie froyo a few times. no problems, but emmc is just so much faster :P

    Seems to depend on which ROM you are using. CM7 uses the most battery during standby and stock seems to use the least.
