    Post [ROM][10.0][AOSP][SUZU] SonyXperiaDev Q Builds

Hey, In `kernel/sony/msm-4.14/common-kernel` you'll need to run the `build-kernels-gcc.sh` I'd recommend removing the other platforms or you'll be waiting a few hours on them all building. It's also recommended to use the Linaro GCC Toolchain for this. Hope this helps.

Post Paranoid Android Pie Beta - Xperia X Compact

Please use the V5 blobs. Any of the newer ones don't work with the current build. Still waiting on the new build to be built sadly.

Post Paranoid Android Pie Beta - Xperia X

Currently waiting on the guy in charge of building to do that. As for the updating, all you need to do is update by flashing the zip and flash v6 OEM.

If you can send me a logcat I can have a look at both these issues.

Post Paranoid Android Pie Beta - Xperia X Compact

Initial boot will take a while to boot. It should however not take long on any subsequent boots, probably 15-20 seconds at most.

Can you try with v5 as I cannot reproduce this issue here. Cheers

Post Paranoid Android Pie Beta - Xperia X

Can I check which OEM image you flashed? v6 was released today(22.02.19) which may have some issues as we built for v5.

Post Paranoid Android Pie Beta - Xperia X Compact

You only need to flash the binaries via fastboot. fastboot flash oem (downloaded & extracted oem image)

Post Paranoid Android Pie Beta - Xperia X Compact

So far it's very stable and I've not really seen any bugs in the past 3 months or so. If you find any that would (not) be awesome! In the future dirty flashing will be acceptable for updates.

Post Paranoid Android Pie Beta - Xperia X

Ah sorry guys, I'll add that to the OP. Personally I've been running this for a few months as daily and I'm pretty happy with it. We just never got round to building for suzu as I'd put in a stupid flag that was causing a 4-5 minute boot time. ?*♂️

Post [ROM][Xperia X][SUZU] [Oreo] Paranoid Android [21-08-2018] [Discussion]

The option shouldn't be there but seems to be there on the builds for Xperia devices. You'll need to clean flash to fix the issue. Sorry for that.

Post [ROM][Xperia X][SUZU] [Oreo] Paranoid Android [21-08-2018] [Discussion]

For dual SIM I believe if you just change the build.prop to F5122 it should work.

    Post [ROM][Xperia X][SUZU] Paranoid Android v7.3.1 [Discussion]

Hi there, I am sorry that we have stopped providing builds for Nougat PA but we are still working away. These bugs have been noted and now don't seem to be apparent on 8.1. However, there is an issue with the FP HAL on all devices supported by Sony and I recommend using the following to fix...

    Post Paranoid Android 6.0.1 - AOSPA - Z2

Hi, I am working on it as we speak. There's been some difficulty with Sony devices on our PA Code Base but we believe we are nearing a solution. Hold Tight

    Post Paranoid Android 6.0.1 - AOSPA - Z2

Hi there, with this ROM and any based on AOSP sources you are sadly going to be stuck with a dark camera. For AOSP the camera proprietary code had to be re-written to be fit for Open Source release. This however has meant a lower quality experience than that of stock. This code is constantly...

    Post Paranoid Android 6.0.1 - AOSPA - Z2 Tablet

Hi guys, sorry for the lack of communication. For the reboots issue it is possible to fix this with a change to the 1.3.3 Kernel branch however this will completely break the functionality of the camera. If you were to look at the aospa github you would also see that development has ceased on...

Post Paranoid Android 6.0.1 - AOSPA - Z3 Tablet Compact

This is largely due to there being the bare minimum of apps pre-installed. You'll want to install a Gapps package from here for access to Google Play etc.

Thanks for the report about LTE. :D For SuperSU I flash the latest zip from cahianfire on my castor_windy. For Dev Options keep tapping the Build Number in About Device.

More than I'd like but Sony has some cross-overs with Nexus which causes incompatibility.

    Post Paranoid Android 6.0.1 - AOSPA - Z2 Tablet

This is AOSPA not AOSP. Battery % is in settings > battery > battery icon/three dots Customisable buttons is not a feature on the Nexus/AOSP branch

    Post Paranoid Android 6.0.1 - AOSPA - Z2 Tablet

I can confirm that we (I) have a castor device to build and test on. The modem blobs were missed from the build as they were not present in the used vendor. They have now been added and will be present next build.

    Post Paranoid Android 6.0.1 - AOSPA - Z3 Compact

Hi, for the reboots etc this is a kernel issue. Currently we are using the 1.2.2 branch from sonyxperiadev which has an issue with vidc/iommu. This is fixed in the 1.3.3 branch but currently Camera is not yet supported. Once support is added we will move over. I can confirm that it is fixed as I...

Post Paranoid Android 6.0.1 - AOSPA - Z3 Tablet Compact

SIM will be fixed in the next release. This was due to missing modem blobs but these have now been added and will be present in the next release. Post Paranoid Android 6.0.1 - AOSPA - Z3 Compact

You are correct in that Sony will be releasing new binaries for camera and this is indeed what we are using for PA on Sony. However this work will take time, but we will in the end have Nexus like support for Sony devices.

    Post Paranoid Android 6.0.1 - AOSPA - Z2

Currently D6502 isn't currently supported by Sony AOSP. Going to attempt to add support today which will hopefully be accepted for the next release. For the time being you'll have to restore your friends Z2. Sorry I can't help further at this present moment.

    Post Paranoid Android 6.0.1 - AOSPA - Z3

I don't have a dual SIM device to test this but it may only work with one SIM. As for the flickering some users have experienced this but for the mass majority they haven't. If you follow the flashing instructions all should be okay.
