Thread Transplant USB C port to Samsung Tab S T700?

I am buying a Samsung Tab S 8.4" T700. I was wondering if there were a part to replace the micro USB port with a USB C port. Poking around it looks like there are lots of T700/T705/T100 replacement micro USB ports, but it could just may to be too have gotten a C option. Thanks for your help...

Post APP - OpenIT - The easy, FREE way to unlock unlimited HotSpot on the Sprint Variant

Oh, sorry, didn't notice the forum, I was clicking any random search hit that seemed like it would help! :) And unfortunately Android 8.1 completely borked native hotspot for the Pixel 2/XL - odd, because I had a Pixel 1 acting as my home's hotspot, and it lost no hotspot functionality after 8.1.

No. I am on a rooted Pixel 2 with Android 9 and there are no APN settings available.

Post Is this tablet goof to take notes?

I would say it would be fine for pen notes if it's in landscape mode, and portrait mode would work too depending on your handwriting.

Thread Official M3 Android 7.0 Nougat and EMUI 5.0 entering beta yesterday?

Short answer shorter: a leaked EMUI 5.0 schedule from Huawei claims the M3 edition of Android 7.0 (not 7.1) and EMUI 5.0 (with rumored much lower EMUI annoyance quotient (EMUIAQ)) is going into beta, and this may have already been released as of this past Wednesday the 18th. Release version is...

    Post Pixel Hotspot

Seems to be a carrier thing. Some people were able to use hotspot after using a workaround, including Verizon, but it seemed like for Sprint doing that gave hotspot but no internet access. Thanks, I am about to head out but I will test this later if nobody else has yet.

Sorry, yes, I copied my post from a comment I made in another hotspot thread where the code was brought up and I tested it, but it didn't work for me without root. Some people were able to use hotspot after using a workaround, including Verizon, but it seemed like for Sprint doing that gave...

Just did it, the new root will get you functioning hotspot on Sprint, possibly for other people too who were having the same problem after getting the hotpost on. I ran the first code above ( adb shell content insert --uri content://settings/system --bind name:s:tether_dun_required --bind...

    Post Pixel Hotspot

With root you should be able to get into the APN settings. Check a guide if you're unfamiliar with it, it's buried kinda deep but pretty straightforward. Searching for 'android tether apn dun' should do it. I only learned there's root now from you so I'll go test it out myself. Thanks...

Post Pixel and Pixel XL let down.

Dang, sounds like when I tried out the HTC M7, I started going to literally every Sprint store in the area and nobody had a SIM that worked, until store 6-7 out in the boonies of Chicago. Maybe it's a particularly weird HTC implementation of SIMs?
  35. lafinjack

Post Pixel and Pixel XL let down.

Sorry I missed this. I just sent a 400 character gibberish text to myself and to my GVoice number, both went through normally. I do know that some carriers have funky stuff tied to the SIM type, including SMS/MMS, and Sprint does weirder stuff still as a CDMA carrier using SIMs, so that may be...

Hi there, we're trying this over in the Pixel 5 thread too. The shell command did not work for me on Sprint. I tried running it while the hotspot was active, then while it was inactive. I tried to go into the APN settings with Quick Shortcut Maker, but I also have no root and it said something like current user has no access to APN settings. Root is probably required, or at least some kind of workaround.

Cyanogenmod 13 is still only nightly status, I update regularly but I still have random problems/unreliability with it. My preference would be a solid AOSP style ROM, even if it were Lollipop.
