    Post Impossible to re-lock bootloader?

You're kidding, right? If you started _exploring_ whether there was a way, then until you solve the problem, it's still not possible until you actually do it. Your attempts don't change that, though we could potentially say "you can't right now, but some folks are working on trying." if I tell...

    Post Impossible to re-lock bootloader?

No, they won't. The phone has been out for many years, and a large number of very smart people have tried. And if they used an eFuze or something then it's definitely irreversible. Don't get the person's hopes up with "maybe one day". For all intents and purposes, the answer is no.

    Post Impossible to re-lock bootloader?

You cannot re-lock the XZ1c bootloader. All of the guides for unlocking emphasize that pretty clearly.

Post iPhone 12 Mini as and upgrade from XZ1 Compact

The overall dimension is my motivator, it's about size and one-handed use. So if they cut bezels, you can make a "bigger" (screen) phone that fits in a smaller package. So it's a bit hard for me to compare blindly on screen, when it isn't the thing I care about. I had a battery bloat issue -...

Post iPhone 12 Mini as and upgrade from XZ1 Compact

That wasn't their point point (all of two posts, I might add; the other one was a plug for an iPhone app), it was the point of the original poster, who was interested in a comparison of the two phones. This reply added little of value in terms of tradeoffs, and merely pluged the 12 mini vs the...

Post iPhone 12 Mini as and upgrade from XZ1 Compact

At $700 US and up, I wouldn't call it "budget friendly". This also isn't the place to (effectively) post an ad for the thing.

    Post [ROM] LineageOS 18.1 UNOFFICIAL - 2.0 (Update: 2021-01-20)

There is no way to re-lock the bootloader for the XZ1C. I'm not sure which instructions you were following, but most of the guides I've seen for this phone make that clear.

    Post [Treble/Pie/XZ1c] AOSP Extended ROM

@russel5 Do you still have the pie rom built somewhere that you could re-upload? I found the AEX 10, but not that one. I'd also be curious if you have any context on VOLTE for the Oreo ROM (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/g8441-xz1c-lilac-aospextendedrom-oreo.3859656/post-84955505), which...

    Post [G8441,XZ1C,lilac]AospExtendedRom (Oreo)

Here's a copy of the v5.8-lilac-20190407-0952 ROM, which is (I think) the last one made. https://disk.yandex.com/d/A10fa7mq5rnm8Q

    Post [Treble/Pie/XZ1c] AOSP Extended ROM

I'm also interested in this ROM, either the 9 (Pie) or 10 version. Can anyone confirm whether VoLTE was working here? I'm currently running the AEX 8 (Oreo) ROM, which used the Sony AOSP blobs, rather than the stock ones. Which does this ROM use? Am I right in thinking that there's no easy way...

    Post [G8441,XZ1C,lilac]AospExtendedRom (Oreo)

Long time lurker first time poster. I've been using this ROM for a couple of years (I'll see if I can find the zip to upload for folks), and in switching carriers, I find myself in need of VoLTE/VoWifi. It doesn't seem to work for me, and I'm not sure if it's the ROM, or a configuration on my...
