Yes. I don't know any other way to get back to the previous state without flashing the full ROM through fastboot. You can Google the process if not familiar with.

Flash the fastboot rom. And don't wipe all the partitions next time. Just format data

    Post [UNOFFICIAL]PitchBlack Recovery for Sirius

If you followed the above instructions, then PitchBlack should work just fine. BTW, if you are interested in installing the latest Pixel Experience ROM, then the dev already made a working TWRP, use that instead. And follow his instructions. Here is the thread.

Next time you open the app it should work fine. But if it doesn't, then go to Camera settings, About and enable advanced option and come back to Camera UI, it should work

First install this Magisk module if you don't already have [it's the GCam fix for MI 8 SE]. Then install a GCam of your choice. I'm using this version. Cheers!

    Post [UNOFFICIAL]PitchBlack Recovery for Sirius

Didn't quite get your question. But to have a Pixel Experience ROM, I never flashed any firmware nor vendor. Always used the latest MIUI that is available and just flashed the ROM zip file. And that's all. And about your computer detecting your device storage, it should show up the storage...

    Post [GUIDE]Porting TWRP without source

Dear Augustoandro Sir, Successfully ported a TWRP from Redmi Note 5 Pro to my MI 8 SE. Everything pretty much works flawlessly but only issue I've got is that my PC detects my device as Redmi Note 5 Pro and not as MI 8 SE when in TWRP recovery mode. Any way to fix that? Thanks.

    Post [ROM][DISCONTINUED][9.0][sirius] Pixel Experience [AOSP][r46][2019/08/27]

He clearly said, "Flash before ROM". You need to flash the vendor file first then the ROM file. BTW, why do you wanna flash this unofficial version of Pixel Experience Plus. There's already an official one to download.

    Post [ROM][DISCONTINUED][9.0][sirius] Pixel Experience [AOSP][r46][2019/08/27]

Used this version of GCam. And it works great. Well, you need this Magisk Module though.

    Post [ROM][DISCONTINUED][9.0][sirius] Pixel Experience [AOSP][r46][2019/08/27]

Is flashing the vendor really necessary? The thing is, whenever I tried to flash a xiaomi.eu developer ROM over a stock Stable MIUI, my device bricks. Every time. And the vendor you given might be developer ROM's vendor! That's why this noob question? :silly:

    Post [ROM][DISCONTINUED][9.0][sirius] Pixel Experience [AOSP][r46][2019/08/27]

PitchBlack Recovery is recommended, it's more stable. And also make a backup and format the data so that you don't face any encryption issue. Cheers

    Post [ROM][9.0][UNOFFICIAL] Lineage 16.0 [25-12-2019]

It should work. Try Formatting Data from wipe option (it will break the encryption and boot up) BTW, this will remove everything from your device storage though. So, keep everything you need (including the ROMs you wanna install) backed up in your computer

    Post [ROM][DISCONTINUED][9.0][sirius] Pixel Experience [AOSP][r46][2019/08/27]

Copy needed files (including the Pixel Experience ROM zip) from your device storage to a computer for safety. If you are on any MIUI then, open recovery, go to Wipe -> Format Data -> type yes, and press ok (WARNING: This will remove everything from your device storage). But this also fixes...

Was using PitchBlack recovery. And installed the ROM over 8/22 Dev MIUI ROM. Also the change of contrast and saturation is not as colorful as MIUI. So, even it works you might not have noticed. So, you might wanna give this app a try to manually adjust it. Reapply is needed after every boot...

It definitely is usable as a daily driver. Battery life was kinda similar that of MIUI Chinese Stable (at least to me). Didn't face any bug. Well, there was one but that is on every custom ROM, I've tried. It is when installed Dolby Digital or any other audio mod. The ringtone and notification...

About the SOT though, haven't fully drained the battery yet. But after a full charge, played PUBG Mobile for around 1 and a half hour. Streamed Spotify and YouTube for around 2 hours. And got a SOT for around 4 hours. Still 30% battery left Geekbench 4 score

Awesome. Working flawlessly. But, noticed something is that, when enabling dark mode, it just darken the quick settings panel like stock Android. But not the Settings app. I think it used be also dark in the Unofficial version, if I'm not mistaken
