I meant turning on the Notification Access.

When it takes you to the Notification Access settings, turn off the other apps and Xiaomi framework's notification access while you activating the AOE's. After the AOE's will be successful, you can turn all the rest back on.

AOE is working for me (9T Global) There's a little fun to work out the Notification Access, but if you open the app (AOE) there's a button at the bottom (under the SAVE) called "NOT WORKING?". I suggest to read it. There's the solution for Xiaomi phones.

This watch became usable now. I will be curious how will it impact on the battery life. Hopefully not a lot.

I'm sure that all of these restrictions for the Beta versions only. The Beta is for testing purposes not for normal daily use! The people use 3rd party launcher, they not testing the Huawei's one and at any problems probably send fake issue reports because of the 3rd party apps.

After a few days of normal use, the battery life is coming back to normal now. 2 - 2.5 days.

A bit pricey, but now we can make sure that it is possible to unlock without the Huawei support. ;)

Is it Overclocked? The battery drain is much less for me with this MIUI than with the official ICS. (Advanced Stock Kernel with 1.5GHz factory CPU clock)

There's no problem with the wifi. If you installed the Doom v3 before the ROM, reinstall the kernel. It will recover the working drivers. DON'T install the wifi fix!
