Same thing happened with me. switched back to orignal. I did format with fat32. it kept on reverting. i restatredt he phone worked for some time then again the card would not be shown in the storage..

Did every step as told.. worked ,but after 2 days stared screwing up....not able to save the camera on ext sd card. the external card appears-disappears..applications not saving on internal sd....Anywaz a great idea...will try again with newer version..

U have to change the corresponding icons from the touchwizlauncher.apk file in system/app.

Just download the systemui.apk found in above posts and replace it in /sdcard/system/app/ Done. You will get ur default one back.. worked for me:D

Just use whatever background u want to and change the name to- StartMenu_Background_Screen_480x800 for potrait and StartMenu_Background_Screen_800x480 for landscape. The file shuld be .png format. The easiest and simple method.
