I fixed mine temporarily by heating up the emmc chip using solder hot air gun. It seems to be just the emmc chips connection. Failed again after a fortnight when the phone got too hot. The connection seems to break when the g4 gets hot. One option to try is to boot the phone inside a freezer...

emmc chip is faulty or corrupt. I fixed mine by heating up with hot air soldering gun until solder reflow.

UPDATE: Solved I removed the mainboard cover with the intent of forcing into Qualcomm bulk usb mode but thought I'd try one last time to get into download mode. Works! It seems removing the cover reset something and re-enabled the download mode.

This exploit needs a KK firmware with a TA in the FTF which only seems to occur on some FTFs. It's not writing the partition but reserving the space I guess?

I bought a second hand Z3c D5833 and discovered teh bootloader had already been unlocked and no TA backup. I've searched high and low but can't find a 23.0.1.A.5.77 FTF with TA in it. Does anyone know where you can find one from? Flashtool and Xperifirm only give latest firmwares, not old ones.

The USB port and SIM card slots will be corroded because the water will have got in via that flap, that's why they don't work. Only way to fix is to open up phone and try to resolder them. I successfully revived a Z1 compact by resoldering the USB port.

It does seem ridiculous that these OEMs still can't seem to get camera software WB correct. I don't know how they calculate it but you'd think they'd be fairly accurate by now. Is it something to do with sensor size? My Canon DSLR doesn't seem to have trouble with WB.

You used auto white balance which is why leaves look pale. Try cloudy or sunny white balance when taking pictures of trees and leaves. Also try iso 50 when you've got light.

I use Multi when in Manual mode. The camera app does annoy me that it defaults to Centre, Face focus etc. so if you select scene mode then switch back to full manual it resets. I guess the default centre weighted, face focus is for portrait shots?
