It's the ROM, NFC is broken with the current kernel. Some users have reported that if you go back and flash an earlier kernel of the ROM, around July I think, it works again.

Yeah looks like it. I came from another ROM and it was working. I flashed stock to make sure and it works there as well. Using the newest build the NFC toggle won't stay on.

Nope it's still there, it's a little better. It doesn't happen as often and when it does it's not as noticable compared to the prior release. I did a dirty flash though, I might try a clean flash later and see if that helps.

LTE is part of 4G, this rom doesn't seem to specify if you are connected to 4G LTE. You most likely are connected to LTE. Use an app like "phone signal" to check your mobile signal and it will show you are connected to LTE. Here's a screenshot of my phone on T-Mobile showing the status bar...

Have you checked the APN settings and making sure they are correct?

I figured it out, I had just came from Omni Rom. For some reason, I had to flash the 6.0 image then flash the 7.1.1 image and now everything passes, and AP works.

No, I relocked it after I flashed the image and turned off the oem unlocking option after. I was previously rooted though, but the script on the image should have taken care of that right?

New update appears to be uncertified and Android Pay doesn't work.... any way to fix this?

Strange... do you have Magisk installed and have Magisk hide on?

Make sure you change ALL the "91"s to "88"s, not just the "7.1.1" to "7.0".

Flash and Flashlight QS working fine for me. Try doing a clean flash of the ROM.

I had issues as well with Snapdragon camera, but I fixed it with Gandalf's earlier suggestion of force stopping the app, clearing the data, then clearing cache + dalvik in recovery.

Gandalf I seem to be encountering some issues when using the snapdragon camera. After taking a few shots the app will stop responding, sometimes it will cause the phone to freeze and I'll have to force a reboot. I think it has to do with the HDR becuase I don't have any issues with google...

No, it still detects the bootloader is unlocked. The kernel needs to support hiding the bootloader state, which currently doesn't, and prob won't from what I've gathered from Omni team's stance on hiding the bootloader state.

Yeah, I flashed the Nougat nexitbit image to update the firmware prior to flashing the 4/10 builld, still gets stuck without root.

I tried a dirty and clean install of the 4/10 build and couldn't get it to boot without rooting either. I also tried to remove root after successful boot with root, and it prevented it from booting again.

Did you have to root as well to get it to boot?

Also happened to me twice on the 3/19 build, once while running open signal and once on the home screen. Can anyone point me to where I can get directions to pull a log after something like this happens?

Anyone having issues with bluetooth audio? I can connect to my car's bluetooth and control spotify, the display shows the song info, but no audio comes though. Audio with phone calls works though. Can anyone else confirm they have this issue?

I think it's because the widget isn't expanded all the way. Go to the screen lock settings and check "maximize widgets" and you should be able to see the calendar events.

The latest experimental (LCDtest 3) is working great for me. Had a few RR with the 6/4 nightly, it went away with the experimental. There lag when unlocking the phone has seem to gone away as well. No upside down screens for me either. Edit: Had a few RRs today at work.

Don't just clear the cache/delvik, do a full wipe.

I'm on 5/1 and I can verify the instagram problem with it becoming black. Clock and alarm works fine for me though. I did a clean install. I had only one RR so far.

I had trouble with my phone going into deep sleep. I then realized I left bluetooth on which was preventing deep sleep. It slept fine after turning it off. Also, just to make sure, the phone doesn't go to sleep when charging.

Have you tried using an app like Badass Battery Monitor to check what's app or process is eating up your battery? Also, does your spare battery die quickly as well?

Instagram still freezing the phone after taking a picture with Eugene's newest build. Works fine with Whitehawkx's 701 build though.

Try clearing the app data for maps.

I just tried editing a photo right now with instagram and my phone rebooted itself, LOL!

Instagram is working just fine for me on Eugene's build.
