I did install it and it did not help. I have terrible battery drain with KatKiss, I hate to say. It seems to get worse after 24 hours of uptime. If I reboot it stays stable for a bit, but the longer uptime, the faster it drains. :( I went back to a Nandroid backup of sbdags KitKat CROMi-X...

Yes, I believe it was only fixed on KatKiss Nougat.

Yes, just "dirty flash" it. I did it from v18 to v19 with no issues. Instructions from post # 1 - everytime (even when "dirty flashing") do the following steps: Flash the rom Flash the SuperSU zip Flash gapps Wipe cache/dalvik Reboot

That is what I use. No issues here. Sometimes the ROM flash fails on the first attempt, but just flash it again. Remember to say No when it offers to fix root, as well.

Try CWM It was a huge effort just to get TWRP working for this device, it was more than 2 years into it's life until there was a version. I use Clockworkmod, and have no complaints. Yeah, you don't have touchscreen capabilities, but honestly, Tim's ROMs take like 4 button presses to install...

Hi Bozzaspad, First things first, have you unlocked the tab using the Asus tool? You mentioned a factory reset first, but nothing about unlocking the tablet. You'll also want to have a recovery image handy. You can get the tool (TF701T_Unlock.rar) from here under utilities...

Installed 7.1.1 v16 this morning. So far so good! One (minor) annoyance, and I may just be missing how to disable it - It's showing me the dock battery even though I don't have it docked. Can this be turned off like we could in previous versions? My benchmark was higher with Nougat than MM...

Yes, similar happened to me with 032 AND 033 in CWM Recovery. I just rebooted back into recovery and it worked the second time. :good:

HippoMan, Which kernel did you choose? I had this same exact problem a while back, and the only thing that fixed it was using the Modified stock kernel. (I can't remember if that's the default or not, but may want to try that if you didn't choose it already.)

No, i dont. But this is unrelated to the ROM and cropped up recently across multiple devices. Even if you went back to version 7.0.0, your Google services would automatically get updated on that ROM and you'd be back to where we are now. :(
