Hmm, don't know what's wrong then. I uninstalled Google Photos and reinstalled it from the Play store, still same force close whenever I try to view a photo full screen.

Phew! It took about 20 tries but I finally got the 11/21 build downloaded now installed. FANTASTIC, seems to work incredibly smoothly and better than most official CM milestones. Huge thanks to pershoot!

IIRC, there is no hardware difference. It's a question of software settings by region where everywhere is the same but US. So actually everyone can use both but there is some slight advantage for US to use the US build. But it would be GREAT if someone actually knew for sure and could confirm...
