You have to be on stock recovery too. You may check this another post in the Q&A section : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2619681 You should find everything you need to successfully manually install the update .

Was the file you were reading a .cbr file ? .cbr take much more time for loading. Try converting your file to a .cbz, and check again, it should load instantaneously ...

Revolver Parts downloads the .zip files at the root of the micro sdcard. But the files arent's named "update.zip", each file has a different explicit name. That's why the basic "apply update from sdcard" command doesn't work, you have to manually choose which zip you want to apply.

Just in case of ... Do you have a MicroSD card inserted in the tablet's slot ? Is there enough space on it ?

You probably use the "apply update from sdcard" command from CWM, do you ? You have to choose the "install zip from sdcard" command, then browse to the .zip you want to apply on the SDCARD.

Hi, You probably don't have a MicroSD card in the tablet's slot, that's why those options are "hidden". They're only available if a MicroSD is used, as those plugins (and the rom updates) are downloaded on (and flashed from) it.
