Hi guys My tf701 went into a permanent state of sleep last night and I found the only way to wake it up was to disconnect the battery. While doing this I cracked the digitiser itself in several places and so the touchscreen no longer works :( Should I look at repairing it or bin the device...

Hi guys, On my tf700 and maybe due to 4.2.1, I could lock the bar at the bottom of the screen with the home button etc. On so didn't make any accidental touches during games etc. But can't find how to do it on tf701 / 4.3 is it still possible? Keep hitting it while playing Fifa 14! Thanks...

I did the full Rom update manually and it didn't wipe. That was with doing it through the rck method, described by Asus for the new update. Sent from my K00C using Tapatalk

As far as I'm aware, they don't use the tablet version any more, Swiftkey have consolidated the app into just 'Swiftkey Keyboard'. I'm not sure if this means you'd have to buy it again, but that version works fine on my TF701. Have a read through the description on Play Store and it'll explain...

I had these too before the bogus OTA update, which I then had to wipe and not had it since. Seemed to happen on any websites I was on but happened randomly.

What firmware are you on? I've not noticed this problem but not used my dock for a week or so. Works ok on the new firmware afaik.

Yup, no issues with the dock or any flexing. Really good and I'd say more usable than the TF700 as mine was a little flexible and moved on contact. This one is much better but would still have preferred it to be aluminium. Owen. Sent from my K00C using Tapatalk 4

Yeah I'm afraid I can't see it either. Each of the manufacturers seem to use a different transition animation so it might just be that the Asus transition appears different. The Samsung responds quicker to the orientation change but I think this is only its been programmed differently. Go with...
