Weather Icons?` I have been trying to get weather icons to work with facer. can anyone offer any insight on how to properly set up the conditionals and store the images to show weather icons? (basically, just one icon showing at a time, for current weather condition)

wow, that made a world of difference. thank you so much :) got that updated bootloader on it, and updated recovery again and its running great now :) still has the occasional random reboot, sometimes gets stuck with process com.android.systemui has stopped.

ah really? ok will do :) edit: seems to have made a huge difference, but it still freezes up and reboots randomly. once every 20 min or so. thanks though, data/media must have been most of my problem.

10.6.1.14.4 US bootloader, and yes. did a full wipe (minus data/media) [did 2 wipes back to back actually, tried this about 15 times now with both this rom and PAC] ive gotten it to boot now. and it runs for awhile. but any time the screen goes to sleep it SOD's. and randomly ill be doing...

just boot looping on me after clean install on pacman and crombi-kk i have US bootloader and i *was* on OTA JB before the wipe and install.. it boots, sits there, freezes up, and restarts back to the asus 'this device is unlocked' and starts over again... im about to throw this thing out a window.

updated bootloader to required. wiped and installed like normal... first boot took 25 minutes, bootlooping (or so it looked) including starting at the ASUS start screen 'this device is unlocked' when it FINALLY boots. it runs like crap for about 5 minutes.. then crashes again and loops for...

so apparently the home button no longer wakes the device when in an s-view cover. wont work to wake device, or dismiss calls/alarms. any fix for this? its kind of a deal-breaker for me with kitkat, seems to be part of the kitkat base. just hoping there is some kind of workaround somewhere.

Hello, looking for a way to get samsungs Optical Reader application back on my phone. it was on Wicked v4 (the build i was on previous to this) and i really miss it. can someone please help me on how to make it work again? i have a titanium backup, but it seems that it needs a few extra files...

Optical Reader? finally updated to this rom from wicked v4, loving it so far, but i miss the optical reader. any way to get that back? i have titanium backups of it, but apparently it requires a few different files, and they never seem to want to work. just sits there on "Restoring" any help...

can anyone suggest a very lightweight rom with working tmobile data? this one was doing ok, but now i literally get 25 minutes on battery if 3g is on.

trying out that tmobile uvlg3 radio from above, was working great. now its overheating my phone and i cant connect to any network. :( any ideas?

ok, running this rom. all is pretty nice. but..... biggest issue i think i have ever encountered on a smartphone in my life... i cant make it go to sleep by hitting the power button.... means i cant check the time while at work. as it will stay awake in my pocket half-unlocking against my leg...

any tmobile users on this ROM? if so, whats the best radio from your experience. ive been just using the modified blaze ICS radio. will it still work here? and does anyone know if the S-Pen cursor mod will function on this ROM? im on jellybeer right now its starting to get flaky, was looking...

ah ok, so it is a known issue. just making sure i didnt mess something up on my phone XD thanks for the quick response.

auto rotate is broken for me on this build, also runs mUCH hotter than normal and burns up battery pretty badly stock kernel i717 on tmobile with blaze radio.

switched to 3.0.9, works after a couple minutes of boot. but still drops some calls halfway thru, usually at 2-3 minute mark. might be my phone, or SIM. ill stop by tmo and see if i have an old sim or something weird.

just updated to this version, getting no call audio. tried stock kernel, and both 3.1.2 hotcakez kernels. trying 3.0.9 now, but i am using Blaze ICS radio as im on TMO. anyone else using this rom on tmobile?

i will wipe all drivers i have for all my android devices in case something is messing with it. thank you very much for your help. its been frustrating not being able to use my tablet at all, hopefully this will work.

i appreciate you trying to help :( but the drivers on the nvflash page... are the ones i am using... it seems fastboot will not run ON my device. says "starting usb fastboot protocol" ill redownload them and try it again though. thanks :)

ugh. was doing great, now it wont run for more than 15min before it SoD's or just freezes completely. biggest issue ive had is what looks like a system freeze. but everything is still running. the screentouch/buttons just wont work.......

still unable to mount this using USB mass storage. loads, then crashes and reboots. its hurting the FS every time it does this. does anyone have a fix before everything is so corrupted i have to trash it?

awesome. it wont let me use USB to transfer my files from internal memory like im used to. so i tried to have file explorer copy 17GB of files from internal to my 32GB SD card. but...... well you can guess. thanks, ill flash this then without losing any of my files stored, that makes me feel...

just flashed rom, so far is working. gonna let it settle in. came from jug v5 (had USB issues for file transfer...kept crashing) would LOVE to see the long-press on notification bar setting, brings you to its settings menu item.
