    Post Stream torrent to chromecast

Well, you download torrents (legal ones of course) using your VPN for "privacy" reasons... Download PMS onto your computer with the files you'd like to play on it. You set up the media folders for plex, you cast the downloaded files to your chromecast using your smartphone or the chromecast...

    Post Fingerprint scanner not working!

Hey, so I was just getting the fingerprint scanner error message, and my scanner was dead to me except a single use after reboots... Couldn't pass the sensor test either. Wanna know what fixed it for me? I clear the data from the app manager. Fixed it entirely. I hope this works for you.

Post Sprint Nexus 5 APN, 3G, LTE, SMS, MMS, all jacked up

I got it working finally, and Now Im running CM 11. It says in the other thread that support for the zip stops around 5.04 or some stuff. But you say it was working with the Marshmallow preview.... Hmmm. Decisions decisions.

What ROM are you running that with? I tried flashing it with the latest cm 12.1 nightly and no dice. It flashed successfully, but I didn't have data, and the standard and non standard troubleshooting methods didn't change anything. Then attempting to access apns went and wiped em all away...

Thread Sprint Nexus 5 APN, 3G, LTE, SMS, MMS, all jacked up

I have a Nexus 5, rooted, unlocked. A couple of months ago, I started having data issues on CyanogenMod 12.1. Could not change APNs, couldn't really do ANYTHING about it. Tried modifying telephony.db files to no avail. Tried deleting them and letting new ones generate (they generated but it...

Post [Q] Half of my internal storage is missing

Yeah I have root. I am running CyanogenMod on my tablet as a matter of fact. Was a real pita getting there thanks to Asus but I managed with help from XDA. As for the Android folder, I checked it out, and I am an idiot. GTA San Andreas, KOTOR, Bards Tale. That's 7.5 gb right there. I didn't...

Post [Q] Half of my internal storage is missing

Ok, so I downloaded the one you meant. And this illustrates the problem to be system data. 11GB of it to be precise. What is in there for me to clear out? And where do I clear it from? Sent from my K00C using XDA Free mobile app

Thread [Q] Half of my internal storage is missing

OK, so I have no idea what happened. All of a sudden my space was used up. Which I thought was pretty strange. When I look in settings, I'm only using about half of what I have. However, the other half of my internal storage is just unavailable. My tablet knows how much space it has total...

Post [Q] Unable to unlock bootloader at 4.4.2, any solution?

I think I found what you're referring to. It's in the Google account management section. It's the area where you can make your internet experience immune to Google's pull. You can edit adsense settings, see your entire Google history, YouTube videos you've viewed all sorts of stuff. It's really...

I just wanted to put in my two cents here. I've been having the same issues with the bootloader unlock tool for the last 3 months. I've called customer support numerous times and been told too bad. We don't support that. We don't care. I bought this tablet for its vast power but I am not even...

Lol, she caved. I used stump, and hey, nothing deleted. OK, so just to start, I'm still new to rooting, adb, roms, and all this fun stuff. I rooted my Nexus 5 six months ago because I got bored and just finished rooting my Ouya and putting cm11 on it. IMO, go with CM11. MY Ouya sat under a pile of DVDs for almost a year. I had no desire to use it at all. The OS seemed too alien and didn't want to be learned. I wanted an android machine.
