quick update, after moving that DRM file libwvdrmengine.so , i've been getting almost 2 days deep sleep on my TF701 when i close the lid, (see from the attached screenshot) and for some happy reason i no longer lose the trackpad focus on re-opening the tablet. DRM doesnt seem adversly affected...

nope, spoke too soon.. this again stopped it going into deep sleep (checked with Wakelock Detector). I've just moved that libwvdrmengine.so file out into a temp directory for now, rebooted, and the tablet is again getting deep sleep recorded. Think i'll just leave it out for now until it gets...

berndlb, i replaced the file libwvdrmengine.so as buda5767 mentions in post #510 with the one in that repository, under the asus directory branch. seemed to do the trick.

another update: fully charged the tablet last night to 100%, turned off wifi, then closed the lid. Opened the next day (10 hours later), charge still 100% on both tablet and keyboard. Definitely looks like its the wifi, and turning it off before closing stops the drain.

The Samsung Flip case is no protection - i have one and it didnt stop my Note 2 from smashing its screen from a 2 ft drop from my pocket to the road - the problem with these ones are they tend to fall/flip open when you drop them - just sayin..

It started on ICS 4.03 (Taboonay) and its unlocked CWM bootloader (cant remember the version, maybe 3) and still present on latest CM 10 20120821 and unlocked ICS CWM v6 recovery bootloader.
