CM Recovery needed or TWRP is fine?

I have tried to flash both with and without the check. Still fails. Should I be flashing the latest release or first? I had the impression I had to flash the first release before upgrading.

I have reverted my recovery back to TWRP 2.8.7, checked zip file sig verification, flashed, and still failed. Error is 'E:zip signature verification failed: 1'

I'm having issues installing the ROM. I'm coming from MIUI and had TWRP recovery. I have downloaded the ROM from Download(cm-12.1-20151217-UNOFFICIAL-hermes), flashed Cyanogen Recovery, performed factory reset, flashed ROM but it returns saying 'verification failed'. What did I do wrong?

Has there been any update since 9th Nov for this ROM?

while in PIE, I notice i can reposition the PIE gravity on the fly by dragging my hand to either the top, left, right (assuming i have it set at the bottom) and waiting for that light transparent semi circle to show up. my question is, how do i disable that?

i cant seem to get lockscreen shortcuts to work. i add the shortcuts, turn off/on screen, nothing there.

after flashing 22JAN, clock app still crashes when i try to set an alarm, and keyboard still stays on after screen off which causes login pattern to become tiny.

anyone else having problems with Clock? It keeps crashing when i try to set an alarm. also, with expanded desktop on, when i switch off the screen when in Messages app, and turn it back on again, the keyboard stays on while my pattern lockscreen is tiny. running 21JAN2013. anyone?

Has 2.54 with the proper boot.img been uploaded on the front page?

I need some recommendation as to which ROM i should use on my Desire purely as a music player. Must be lightweight as much as possible (in terms of system apps), great battery life, and must be able to run GoneMAD music player.

I would like to help but i'm not sure if my wii remote plus has -TR activated or not and i'm in australia. My GT 7.7 doesnt automatically connect to my wii remote plus but i manage to by manually putting in the bluetooth address. however, keys doesnt register when i connect my wii remote classic.

i cant seem to update my RIL via GetRIL. getting unwriteable system partition. i've installed busybox and tried to change my /system to R/W via root explorer. anyone else getting the same thing??

anyone with AOKP B39 with franco r192? are you guys getting random hangs?

i just flashed AOKP B39 with franco's kernel. everything boots up fine but at certain times, it just hangs. i cant figure out whats wrong. all cache has been wiped prior to flashing. also, how do i access crash logs?

mine just arrived but its missing the wide angle lens. someone is going to get an ear full..

franco's app v5 is quite buggy when saving custom power modes. yes yes i know it says on the changelog. just 'reporting' it. EDIT: franco's power mode doesnt work too.

okay. also, the phone crashed while i was on 'reddit was fun'. will go to r181 now.

first reboot just occured after 24hours(ish) with r180, 1536-384MHz, 512GPU, wheatly, SR on.

yup data connection was off.

only with franco's kernel where it'll self charge with no power connected and stay constant overnight. Milestone 3, power saver mode.

running aokp b36 + franco r180 @ 1536-384MHz, wheatley, and SR on. everything seems stable.
