Thanks for this. Finally got it working on my P2XL w/latest Magisk Canary using this method.

It looks like the same build that was originally posted, and hosted on Google Drive. Has the same size and filename, at least (statix_taimen-20190124-1923-9-v2.0-OFFICIAL.zip). MikeCriggs would have to verify, though.

Same here...Magisk 16.1 with stock kernel, and SafetyNet passes just fine. Google Pay also working great. I'm also don't have TWRP installed, but just boot to fastboot and then "fastboot boot twrpxxxx.img" when I need to get into TWRP for anything.

Well, I installed 16.1 and initially failed Safetycheck. After a reboot, it passed with no problems. Added cards in Google Pay, as well. Debating whether or not to try and move up to 16.3 again, or just leave as-is. Thanks TonikJDK!

Anyone have success getting root and SafetyNet working? I'm able to get root with Magisk (16.3), but Safetynet fails. I figured it was because of the unlocked bootloader, so I fastbooted and relocked. When trying to reboot after that, I keep getting the red error message stating "Your device...

You can change the color of the Calling Screen; Settings --> Network & Internet --> SIM Cards --> Select your SIM Card --> Select new color

Just posting to say that the Systemless Root method worked great for me. Able to successfully modify /System files and folders (verified changes were still there after reboot), restored some apps, Messages, and Call Log using Titanium, and Android Pay is still working after rooting. Thanks JW!

Same here. The md5 you posted for the MF download is matching mine from the same download, and it was giving me problems when trying to install (same problems as others...bootlooping after installing, etc.) Just downloaded the AFH file now, and it's md5 is matching the one HolyAngel included...

FYI, I was having this same problem back on R48. I had previously flashed a different 3.28.401.6 firmware.zip than the one included in the IC SVN. I flashed that other firmware.zip successfully and was able to run other 4.4.4 Sense ROMS with no data/APN problems , but couldn't get Tmo data on...

If you don't mind me asking, which GApps are you using? I've tried the newer ones (both PA and Slim), but I keep getting a force close when trying to use the lens blur, and neither the Panorama or PhotoSphere works (just get a black screen in the viewfinder with the dots). Thanks!

I had the same issue. To fix, I had to go to Settings --> Display --> Rotation, and make sure "Rotate lock screen" was checked.

Just curious as to what issues it caused you on previous builds? I've added the AOSP lockscreen to this and re-themed, and it seems to be working great. I added a modified framework-res.apk that disables the menu-button-unlocks "feature", as well. I've somehow lost the ability to hold my home...

I was experiencing the same thing. I discovered that I was able to install with my own settings only after flashing/installing the developers pick. I installed the developers pick, let it boot up, rebooted to recovery, wiped, and then installed with my own settings through Aroma. Not sure how or...

FYI...polar clock does work, you just need to go into the settings and chose any color palette other then the 2 dynamic palettes (Polar Bear and Black Hole). Don't know if that works on the Nexus One, but it's working fine on my G1. Thanks for the great ROM.

I always do 2 searches when testing for protected apps; Nesoid (pro, not lite), and Digital Clock Widget (by Maize). As a test, I reverted back to the original build.trout.prop from your ROM, and I wasn't able to see dizzler, either. After modifying again, I can now see it.

I was unable to see protected apps in the market until after editing the build.trout.prop on this. Anyone else experience this? FYI...great build soulife...thanks!
