I'm also having problems with the dailer. Call quality has gotten worse too. Not the people on the other end sound bad but apperently the mic is picking up more sounds from the surroundings. Hopefully next build will fix the problem with the dailer.

is your zip file manipulated in any way? I updated manually yesterday and tried to add account in mi unlock status but it's telling me to connect to the internet and try again althouh I have internet connection via wifi and also network..

Hmm I don't think that the glass is that bad. It is not gorilla glass since the screen is glued to the glass to get a brighter experience. Had jerryrigeverything or some other YouTuber tested the mi 5s against scratched by any chance?

I just recieved that screen protector and it feels really bad. It is cut nicely and easy to apply. But it is really hard to not get any air trapped underneath the protector which itself feels like a rubber strip. After some glass screen protectors and this disappointment I'll be using my phone...

I got the Mi5s (not plus) last week and it shipped with miui 8 global rom including pretty much any language not just english and chinese!

I backup my apps and wifi passwords, email config and all stuff like that with titanium backup. can highly recommend that ;)

anymote only let's you only save one device. for the rest you need the paid version which is smart remote from the first comment.

I really doubt it's CM that is bricking your phone. You must be the unluckiest person in the world. :( Running it for months now without a mayor problem.

since it's rooted, try minmin guard to get rid of the ads if you're using exposed framework or adaway. you could also try another browser with adblock plus extension.

I think you already got the newest layout with your hboot version. So you can just flash it via twrp. You should be able to keep the files on your phone but save them first anyway :)

try insertcoin 3.7.0 for the most stable build and better performance and sense interface. I'm running cyangenmod 12.1 and it's running quite stable for me and is just beautiful because of lollipop. but other users had issues with that. kernels are within both roms.

Although Bluetooth audio is really a nice feature I would never call it a fundamental flaw! If the rest would be working flawlessly many people including me would be really happy with the rom. Data connectivity seems to be the bigger problem atm. I'm gladly waiting for a new update. Hopefully...
