What I meant is that OP would still need to use the Samsung tool after a fresh install using the Moto Assistant. I had to do the same with my Tab 4 8 Plus :)
A reset won't work, that's the whole purpose of Google's FRP. Notwithstanding the latter, OP can certainly reinstall a fresh copy of Android onto the tablet using smart Moto, and then use the Samsung FRP helper tool, reboot and should be good to go...or can just use the helper if OP doesn't...
Great case ... but I can tell you the Magnetor magnetic charger won't fit. The original docking station works fine though.
There is a "fix" for the Magnetor charger though, see here:

I experienced the same thing coming from a One Mini (rooted). Couldn't get anything to work properly. So I opted to just install everything again. I did manage to get the call logs and SMS / MMS messages to the new phone by using My Backup Pro. I purchased it, and clicked on the migrate...
Ok ... then curious question ... what is the best app for POP3 and ActiveSync? :) I do like the interface and features of Nine, but I'd like it if there was one program that could handle both POP3 and ActiveSync.
mmmm that doesn't help resolve the reason why it's not working properly. I appreciate your suggestion, but I shouldn't have to download a third party app to make something that should work natively. But I'll have a look at "Nine" regardless.
So I just got the phone today, I'm a little underwhelmed with the looks and the camera quality. But aside from that, I'm having a larger issue. I tried adding my work account to the phone using Exchange ActiveSync, however, I have numerous issues:
1. The calendar sync option does not appear...
I know you're on break, but I'd also like to report that paid apps is not working, and the permissions you suggested is default on my HTC One Mini 601S. Thanks.
Do I need to format data after installing everything? Thanks.
EDIT: here is what I did
1. stock kk + lego f2fs kernel
2. reboot to TWRP 2.6.3.1 f2fs version
3. install FormatPartitions.zip --> reboot recovery
4. install KTU84Pallf2fs.zip, install initd, install supersu
5. home -> reboot...
Cannot seem to get this ROM to work
1. formatted using FormatPartitions.zip
2. installed F2FS TWRP
3. flashed ROM, initd, superuser
4. reboots - but shows "Type password to decrypt storage"
tried flashing this update ... not only does it still say 3.10.401.4, it still asks for update
EDIT: Even bigger problem just discovered ... after installing Flashalot's update, I'm getting "couldn't install on usb storage or sd card" in play store. Some of my apps (e.g. soundhound, gentle...
Stupid question I guess ... will I be able to get future OTA updates after installing this? Or will I have to always update using the methods as outlined here?
Just wanted to report that I successfully installed this on stock KitKat 4.4.2. Seems to be running a little snappier, dunno if it's a placebo effect though. But for now, I think it is faster ...:fingers-crossed:
I may have removed it completely ... after running your zip script, I went to titanium backup and uninstalled all reference to kidmode ... it's not showing up in the menu anywhere now :victory ... hope that worked, thanks.
Hmmm yes, the KidMode-google.apk is gone, but i'm still able to launch KidMode, setup accounts, and put the phone into kidmode.
I guess it's not a big deal, just thought I could save some space etc. by having this unnecessary app removed.
Thanks for the great and dedicated hard work to all those involved :)
Now, a question ... what is the best way / program to debloat this? I'd like to try it myself hahaha
Download it again ... rename the file to something simple (like OTA442) and change extension .zip. I know it works because I installed it on my phone ... didn't even have to flash the boot.img, but you can try to flash that too.
I followed nelvinchi's instructions and used TWRP recovery to flash.
Yup tried wiping cache & davik. Fixing the permissions. Nothing works. Just goes HTC -> black screen -> off -> HTC -> black screen -> off.
Re-flashing the 4.3 boot.img will get it to boot back into 4.3.
coming from stock 4.3 ... tried both methods to update to 4.4.2 ... Both create endless bootloop.
S-OFF, SuperCID ... tried both unlocked and locked bootloader
