    Post Dump of KPAN Partition

I'm not sure why you guys are having problems with that app as I've already backed up that partition on my Nexus 6 using it: If you check its compatibility on the Play Store it is not limited to Samsung devices. As for TWRP, this is a partition in the firmware that is not handled by that...

    Thread Dump of KPAN Partition

I would really appreciate it if someone with a rooted Nexus 6 model XT1103 would post or send me via PM a dump of their KPAN (mmcblk0p36) partition. I am trying to recover a phone and need the original version of that partition's content to continue. There is a free app in the play store called...

Post [PSA] **WARNING** DO NOT TRY TO DOWNGRADE YOUR G4 BOOTSTACK (in USA at least)

This thread would seem to indicate otherwise and most manufacturers only honor their warranty when the item is purchased from an authorized dealer but it's great that you haven't run into that issue. Perhaps they were able to trace the original purchase back to an authorized dealer. Good luck...

Post [PSA] **WARNING** DO NOT TRY TO DOWNGRADE YOUR G4 BOOTSTACK (in USA at least)

According to the page I quoted earlier, under the warranty exchange program T-Mobile will order a replacement phone and you return the defective phone after the replacement is received, but the phone has to be purchased from T-Mobile or an authorized T-Mobile dealer which Swappa is not. I...

Post [PSA] **WARNING** DO NOT TRY TO DOWNGRADE YOUR G4 BOOTSTACK (in USA at least)

According to this page T-Mobile will replace your phone and return it to the manufacturer if it is defective and still under warranty (one year for the G4) for $20. It doesn't state that the phone has to be purchased form T-Mobile but you may have to produce a receipt if it wasn't . Of course...

Post [PSA] **WARNING** DO NOT TRY TO DOWNGRADE YOUR G4 BOOTSTACK (in USA at least)

Can you re-create the problem(s) at a T-Mobile store? If the issues you are having occur routinely you could call T-Mobile customer service, demonstrate the problem(s) to the staff at the store, and request a warranty exchange. That's what I would do after all the testing and repairs you have...

Post [PSA] **WARNING** DO NOT TRY TO DOWNGRADE YOUR G4 BOOTSTACK (in USA at least)

Not that weird. Don't forget that you can also update the official firmware using the LG Bridge software and a problem while doing that could corrupt the bootloader and cause the same type of error. Even an OTA update could corrupt the bootloader if any of the connections to the battery, or the...

Actually my backup to Frank is Terminus with Hells Doctor on my N4. I've been running Cataclysm with ElementalX on my N5. I did try RastaPop for a while and it's a nice ROM but development seems to have slowed down lately. Mostly high school varsity and a couple of AR's for a local over 50/60...

If all you need is dt2w you can flash Hellscore for the Nexus 4 since it's a little faster and updated more often than Hells Doctor. The Nexus 5 has no touch wake options but the Nexus 4 version does. ramjet73

Dated, but functional. :good: You can hook any volume control app into a Power Toggles icon, I just happen to have been using the Pro version of Volume Control+ since Gingerbread on the Evo 3D, which is why it looks dated. ;) Here's one that's more "material". ramjet73

That flashable zip file was last updated in January of 2014 and the current version of the Stericson BusyBox is 1.23.0. As I said previously, the safest method is to use the current installer, and have it update the binary and symlinks. But it doesn't have to be installed from the Play Store...

You can try flashing the stock boot.img from the factory image and then ElementalX but that only does half the job by cleaning up the ramdisk but doesn't do anything for files installed in the system partition by a previous custom kernel. As rhamej said the best way to prep for ElementalX, or...
