Problem after update Hope someone can help me. I did an update yesterday (20190425) on my sailfish. After pressing install it took the usual long time to install. I checked my phone 1-2 hours later and in the updater the button "restart" was not shown, instead I was only able to download...

I updated to 20190408 today (OTA), no problem so far. Only strange thing was the reboot after installation went to the bootloader. There I could not do anything. Had to long press power. After that everything fine! EDIT: sailfish

why do you need TWRP after updating? for backups? I agree I miss the possibility to backup regularly. just to lazy to fastboot twpr ;) but thats the only point why I need TWRP. So I wonder why you need it all the time.

-As I wrote before, no need to install magisk after OTA. -And TWRP is not removed by OTA, instead OTA is not possible when TWRP is flashed. Thats why installing LOS will replace TWRP with LOS-recovery. If you flash TWRP afterwards, OTA will fail. -Yes, OTA is not updating Gapps.

thanks! this was the problem. I understood the instructions somehow wrong and was used to flash gapps directly after ROM. ....first boot with official! yeah! :)

I have a problem installing Gapps. Error: Could not mount /system! Aborting Updater process ended with ERROR: 1 What I did: reboot into recovery (twrp 3.2.2.0.img) wiped cache, data, system installed lineage official for sailfish installed gapps package...

I did not go down to ~0%, but I got +4 hours of SOT with 53% battery reaming...while being connected to mobile network or wifi all the time, but with disabled sync while on mobile data. Only special thing I use is Greenify.

Definitely! This ROM is working great, and I love it, no question. But I think there is a good reason why many devs do not accept/ignore a bug report when you use a custom kernel or mods like xposed.

Thanks for this information. But I noticed, that using "weeklies" and modify the system deep inside with external programs is a big source for errors and problems, same thing with custom kernels. no doubt, those devs (xposed, gravitybox, kernels, ...) do a great job, but for me those mods causes...

I know, asking for new features is always a bit stupid, but I wonder if the Lineage-devs are working on the possibility to modify the lockscreen-shortcuts as known from Lineage 14. To be honest, I tried, but it is really hard for me to read the git-pages and find any information about this...

Thanks for your work! Sadly, calling is still really buggy. At the beginning it is working fine, after switiching speaker on, you cant hear the other person. speaker off again and you also can't hear anything with internal speaker. really sad, cause for me calling is the most important thing...

Can I ask why you posted this? I have a problem, just updated to latest nightly and now AdAway and Adfree are not working. AdAway says "Copying of hosts file failed!" and Adfree "Unable to locate a partition to remount to write the hosts file to.". I use build in SU, maybe thats the problem...

ok, I noticed two apps crashing since update. It is the camera app and an app called "Debeka Leistungsapp", from an insurance company. Error in the debeka-log looks like it is also camera related. Other apps using the camera (Adobe Lightroom and a barcode-scanner) are working fine.

New build working fine so far on sailfish. Thanks razorloves! Only noticed two small things not correctly themed in dark-mode. See screenshots

I noticed the same problem. The option "control ringtone volume" was checked, but the buttons changed media volume. had to disable and enable the option, now its fine! EDIT: I'm on sailfish, too.

don't just report and repeat bugs, provide logs! otherwise it's useless and not really respectful for devs working on this ROM and asking for log-files all the time!

For me it is always the same with new CM versions...when a new version comes up, the previous version is great regarding battery life. the new one still needs a few months to get to the same level of battery-life compared to the old one. so just be patient ;) I'll wait a few weeks more...
