It shows 'WCDMA Preferred', and also as network type HSPAP. Edit: I confirm, changing WCDMA to LTE/WCDMA in the drop-down menu enabled 4G for me. Now I can see the 4G icon in the status bar. Thank you, bodivas. You are a best! :)

Have you guys been able to use 4G/LTE mobile data network with these 830LC Rooted firmwares? For me it always shows 3G or H+. Shouldn't I see something else in the status bar? Just wondering is it a restriction in the chinese firmware or something else. I have 1050-L with 830LC firmware flashed.

Yes. I flashed those images from the rar package that bodivas provided. They already included the latest update. All worked fine again for me.

What do you mean by 'do it manually'? Sure I'd be glad to have the updates without losing root. But I'm not an expert on these.. I barely managed to flash my device without seriously bricking it. :D Otherwise I'll just wait for new rom releases with newer firmware.

OTA offers an update, but I haven't triedit and have no plans doing so. I don't see a point even trying it. You'd probably lose root at least.

So far all Google apps I've tried works too. Play Store, Chrome, Drive, Gmail - all works normally after when I logged in Google in the android Accounts-menu. :)
