    My device definitely reported L1 in DRM Info app on stock room (also on Oreo). I also know someone with the tb8704X on locked stock Oreo and that device also reports L1. But I also heard that these reports can be misleading, I didn't actually check Netflix or anything.

    Yea, this one seems to work. I can navigate the menu. Haven't tried to flash anything yet though. Thank you! I've noticed that the recovery in the OP is some 10MB larger than yours, could that be related?

    Currently (boot looping) LOS 16, but I was on the latest 8.1 before.

    We are talking about the Lenovo Tab4 8 Plus here, right? Because mine definitely has a Type C port. Its 2 years old, bought in Germany. Doesn't seem to change anything unfortunately.

    Sadly, I don't own a Type C OTG Cable. It's a good reason to buy one though, so maybe I will give an update in a few days ;)

    I have the TB-8704F and your TWRP boots, but it doesn't seems to register any input. Itshows the main menu but i can't click anything.
