Are you running a rom or stock? You can either flash the stock boot.img or the rom's boot.img and then Kylo for the best results. Lots of people have flashed over other kernels but its better to be safe.

If I want to easily switch kernels and I am on a custom rom, can I flash the stock boot.img and then the modified kernel? Or do I have to reflash the custom rom over again?

Yes this happened to me while I was on Stable V1.0. Since switching to Crazy Alpha 2, then Mad Dog then Ghost Pepper I haven't had this issue. Not sure why it happens exactly.

Maybe I flashed a different version of the 1.03 kernel? Is there one specific for the 6p or is it generic for all devices? Instead of Touchboost in the CPU screen, I have an entry that says "Hexacore mode (disable CPU6 and CPU7)" which is disabled.

Yes, I am on EX Kernel 1.03 and EX Kernel Manager 2.40. I don't have a "Touchboost" entry on the screen. I have everything else. Maybe it only shows up on the 5X?

I thought this might be the case. But I don't have a "Touchboost" entry to disable in the CPU screen. I've gone into the CPU Boost menu and set "input boost milliseconds" to "0". I assumed this would disable touchboost?
