Post Possible workarounds to KitKat SD mounting issues...

There's a lot of info out there about getting away from sd cards. 2 articles that I had on hand discuss it some, with the key informants being, Dan Morrill and Dianne Hackborn both key players in Android development. Here's those articles I had that discuss it, but there's lots more. Now...

Post Can only detect one particular SIM

My understanding is that a phone does register on T-mo and associate the IMEI and SIM. If you've ever looked at your Plan on My T-mobile you see that your phone is listed. When I switched from a Wildfire S to the Amaze it did switch after a couple days and show the amaze...all on its own, and...

Post [Q] Cannot get fastboot to work

So if you hook the phone up to the computer and at a command prompt type, "adb devices" it returns your device serial number; but, if you then type, "adb reboot recovery" and are then in the bootloader fastboot and type, "fastboot devices" it doesn't return the device serial number?

Did you figure this out? If not, and from above it sounds like you have it all set up. Once in HTC sync on your PC (with the phone hooked up and, "HTC sync" selected as the, "Connect to PC" choice) and the device panel opens just select what you want to sync on the right.

Post [Q] Why does my mail app mark emails as read on server when checking?

I just discovered your question with no answers last night when scrolling through on my phone before falling asleep so: This primarily has to do with the difference between web email and client email. Keep in mind that, as always, terms can mean different things depending on the content in...

Post Is the Amaze still your "daily device"?

I understand completely. I'm not saying your phone is junk, far from it; but, I've seen phones that are pure junk sell for good prices on eBay.
