I believe to use the up button you would flash TWRP to recovery2. Have you tried holding down when booting?

I've used update extractor and pulled the recovery files and flashed them using fastboot before. That might work for you just to get recovery back.

Have you tried the dload method using an sdcard?

As far as I know there has not been an update released for the US tablet. It's just a matter of time, I hope. avocadopat I would say you are better off to leave what you have on the tablet you bought and select English as your language. US software disables 5GHz wifi and no telling what else.

I'm not having many touch issues. I do tend to have issues adjusting the brightness slider at times. I turned on glove mode just to see if that helps for lack of sensitivity. Overall I'm fine with it.

I used it to do a backup and then it transferred it to my laptop. That worked fine. Being a Mac user, it's nice to have something to do the process for me.
