Post US Tablet User - Can I get to Nougat?

In Firmware Finder select the menu in the top left corner. (3 bars) Right below your model number, select change model and enter BTV-W09C100 and then search. You should see B301 and it's a full OTA. However, as I understand it this is just a beta/test release. Only issue I had with it...

Thanks for the reply. I figured that out after asking you. I've already updated Nougat using this method. I do not use bluetooth very much myself. So it not working is not much of an issue for me. However, if you find a way to roll back please share for those of us that have made the jump...

Post Has anyone installed a custom ROM on a MediaPad M3?

If it requires me having to take a survey in order to even download, I'm not touching it. Has scam all over it. And it's not just 1 link, it's 3 times the surveys. Topic revised so the above comment made absolutely no sense now.

Coming from a Nexus 7 I'm use to many of the img files you flash for restoring. Using update extractor I now see many of those files (003 update) and some I have no idea about or how to flash them. BOOT.img - OK CRC.img - ? CURVER.img - ? EFI.img - I know what EFI is just never flashed it on...

Greatslon modded version of TWRP works fine with the US variant of the MediaPad M3. After I gave up trying to simply boot into it rather than flash it over my stock recovery I've not had any problems. If it was bricking device's you would see numerous complaints in his thread. After it was...

Post Any way to change dpi without adb ?

For those of us following along. Does the edited boot image have to be flashed by TWRP in zip form? Or can we use Fastboot to flash it? or both will work? I've done the edit's and have what I believe is a flashable zip. I personally like to use fastboot. I have DPI set and holding by adb as I...

    Post Stock US rom anyone?

As far as I know there has not been an update released for the US tablet. It's just a matter of time, I hope. avocadopat I would say you are better off to leave what you have on the tablet you bought and select English as your language. US software disables 5GHz wifi and no telling what else.

While I continue to poke around it appears that 5Ghz can be enabled from a few locations. I'm guessing but I'm finding the same file. Same file I mentioned above is here too. Also has the backup that was created. /cust/special_cust/BTV-W09/hw/usa/system/etc/cfg_btv_wifi_only_hisi.ini
